Air filter brand new. Aftermarket carb. Trying to replace stock Mikuni. Slide needle and brass mating tube wore out. I just installd carb. Backed out air fuel screw 2 turns and fired it up. It seems to lose power on top end. Like its hitting a rev limitter. Then backfires on way back down thru rpm's.???

Seems to be not getting enough gas past half throttle. Should i go up 1 size on main jet? Please help.

If its a factory replacement carburetor, you shouldn't have to change the jet size. Sounds like you have either an adjustment issue.

HA HA!!! Got it! Stock main jet is 110. Bought a 5$ 112.5 main jet, PROBLEM SOLVED. RUNS AWESOME.

Great news! Glad you figured it out. That's the problem with aftermarket sometimes.

HI everyone. New to this forum. I have 98 Kawasaki Bayou 400 with an apparent electrical issue. I have the Clymer manual, but I am not exactly sure where to start. The issue started a month ago and the neutral light would go on and off intermittently. Eventually it went completely off , and I thought it was a shifting issue. I took the case off and checked the clutch and all mechanical shifting components are good, so I think I eliminated that. The switch sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Last time I tried, I did hear a clicking sound near where the battery is right before the light went out. Does anyone have any ideas where to start? Hoping this is an easy fix.

Can anyone recommend a good quailty bottm end rebuild kit for a 09 grizzly 700. I need to replace crankshaft and bearing and do not want junk quality?

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!
