Destination Polaris

Watched a cool tv show on   the Sportsman channel last sunday called  destination Polaris. They talk about different riding spots across North America for UTV's and ATV's. And a lot of mudding scenes too!

It does sound like a cool show. I just looked it up online at http://www.destinationpolaris.com/ Seems the newest shows are 2017. Wonder if they have any 2018. Either way, they have some cool episodes and looks like they are on youtube. Here's one episode titled "Alaska"

Been watching this show for a while now.   Was primarily riding Enduro's...took a big spill a while back, and that's put me more into UTV's now.   A lot more comfortable, and I can haul my beer around too.  :)

Something I've noticed with the AWD on/off operation. When AWD switch is in the on position and the AWD light is on (trans engaged), turning the AWD switch off kills the engine. With trans in neutral, AWD light is off, turning switch off does not kill engine. Since I don't have the operators manual yet, I'm wondering if this is normal operation?
      Thanks, Ray

picking up atv tomorrow, guys says motor is locked up. he thinks, anyway has been sitting for more than three years. Please understand i have not touched it yet but if his description is accurate im looking for suggestions on freeing it up before  having to tear it down. I'm hoping to get some great info from the pros on Quadcrazy.

I have an Outlaw 110 that will struggle to turn the engine over. Jump starting doesn't help other than the battery will drain LONG before the bike eventually starts, so is required. If you keep messing with it long enough it will eventually magically begin to crank fine and sometimes finally start. Once we finally get the bike to start and warm it up thoroughly, it will turn over and start just fine the rest of the day like nothing ever happened... next day it won't turn over again.  Internet research has found lots of people saying they replaced starters, starter clutch, wiring, etc. but with only about 50/50 success rate for their particular problems... and I never found anybody describing a problem like mine, so I'm looking for advice/experience. Would rather not just start blindly throwing parts at it. Does anybody have any thoughts/ideas?
