Timberwolf year unknown

Recommended Posts

So I'm trying to figure out the year of one of my Timberwolf's. I have 4.

2 are definitely 1993's, as I can read the serial number on those.

1 has to be close to a 93, as the back rack and lug width (156) are the same as the 93's.

The last one is killing me. Someone painted over the serial number.

Listed are the differences

Back rack is different. It goes through the plastics and will pivot on the rear attachment. Doesn't have the handles out the side, either.

Doesn't have the loops coming out of front plastics.

Foot rests are different.

Lug pattern is 110.

Everything I've read, says that the Timberwolf was produced from 92-98 and then changed name to Bear Tracker. Most parts are interchangeable through those years. Only change I found, was front brakes were upgraded to disk in 2001.

Try to find the vin and take a pic. If it does not show up with a pic you have to put a piece of white paper over it and sketch over it with a pencil

recently picked up some project bikes off CL for cheap.  got a honda fourtrax (the ancient 4x4 kind with the straight axle in the front as well as the rear and a back-up kick-start)  plastics are crap, but my goal is to get running like a champ and patch the plastics up and sell to one of my many friends that want a reliable 4x4 for dirt cheap and doesnt care what it looks like.
so the former owner says it needs carb rebuilt, but its sat for 3+ years since so who knows.  things I see:  carb is missing (he gave me a box of parts along with the bike), engine turns over and feels good with kick-start, brakes need work, battery missing (That always puts me off, cause then I know most likely someone's been tampering with the electrical.

Yamaha Grizzly 700 gets STUCK in Pond Huge thanks for https://myneighbourhoodnl.com/ for the rags we mentioned in the start of the video! we will definitely put them to good use! A few close calls in this video thats for sure! thought I sunk the ol grizzly for a split second... Gotta love Yamaha with their single cylinders. I really think its time for them to come out with a twin now! But gotta stay true to the Yamaha grizzly 700s! This was a really cool run that we happen to go on. no route for the yamaha grizzlys 700. Just picked away finding spots we never went before really. Make sure to follow the yamaha grizzly 700 on instagram! instagram.com/offroad.dan instagram.com/muddymillz

This was probably the roughest ride we went on to date, I know in the video it doesn't really show how rough the ride actually was but boy the Yamaha grizzlys 700 definitely never enjoyed that run at all the silverbacks and Yamaha grizzlys are definitely not built to go rock climbing like we just did in this video. But that being said this run was a good one and Jon only broke 1 shock on his Yamaha grizzly 700 Follow us on instagram: instagram.com/Offroad.dan instagram.com/muddymillz

I just rebuilt a Yamaha Timberwolf and after getting it back together there are 5 Philips bolts left over with a round head they are about an inch long and they are cleaner as if they go in the motor somewhere. Looked all over already and can’t find where they go only thing have yet to check is the stator as I don’t remember taking the bolts out of it any help would be appreciated greatly, thanks.
