Ok so I bought this quad for $275 and the owner(a woman) told me that the atv was having some issues so her husband started messing around with the wire harness and started guessing and cutting wires then the son decided to tag along and the harness became history(garbage) so I asked where did they buy the new harness it came with, because this ATV's engine is watercooled and has sensors in the radiator and engine,The stator has 3 yellow wires a blue/white stripe and green, a link to a wire diagram would help too tanks....0597ba2efa2e44643dcdb11063fefcbb.jpg65c54761df54361a504b07bcb5991310.jpg607fdee7cb11a7534be2c60d13a70d4c.jpg3d7debb08a9f639e8996904a8975dd8c.jpg

Google up shineray 250cc water cooled engine and it'll pop up but finding harnesses is hard, the guy threw away the original harness, and this quad has a temp sensor I think because the radiator has one and the other one is attached to the engine, the husband bought a harness of Ebay or Amazon  and its not even close so that's why he gave up,and when I opened the carburetor on this!!!!! OMG Jets were all gummed up BAD!!!! and he told me I was having trouble getting to fire up,using cheap gas it'll do it,it says 93 octane to be used with the Rapidity 250cc atv

I hate these types of bikes but always like to help a member.

As far as carb tare it apart and clean it good   There is a thread that is posted on the forum for doing that properly

Take a look at this link. It has the harness I believe for your machine.  Scroll through the pics and see how it matches up with your colors and plugs.

Long shot but might be the right one.

Yeah that's very very close,I can see the blu wire, green, and yellow the ones, good research, thanks,I also been doing an extensive research on this and found one as well, the site is from the other side of the world its called UD-spareparts.com and I found one machine very similar and same engine which is what I'm more interested, because the other plugs that change is for lights, blinkers,so on and so forth, but the engine plugs are the same,I ordered it when it arrives and if by any chance don't fit, then I will try this one,I thought the harness would be more expensive, but bottom line is it's still a Chinese atv because they look nice,we have a saying in Puerto Rico,"It doesn't matter how precious you dress up a monkey, because it'll always be a monkey " this may look nice atv but they rust up hust as quick as the little ones!!! Frank my Atv brother THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALWAYS HELPING OUT!!!!

That’s some good stuff.  This can be an expensive hobby and some bike manufacturers and there parts are more expensive then others.  We all have our priorities as well when it comes to spending.

They say money talks! All mine says is good bye! 😂

As long as you don’t mind waiting for parts and buying little by little I feel things turn out better anyway.  It also gives you more time to clean, paint and sort things out better.

Good luck brother!

      Hey all!
I recently acquired an 02 big bear 400 this past summer, carb on it was shot to sh** (pics attached) so my father recommended I just buy a new one off amazon. I purchased the first one that came up as compatible and once it came in, I bolted it in and it fired right up with no noticeable issues. Once I got to the trails with it I realized that on any un-level ground, there's little power output. I checked with 3 different local shops and they all refused to work on tuning up off brand carbs because of how terrible they are. One shop had a motorcycle in with an aftermarket carb and the mechanic said that that would be me if I brought my big bear in. Whoever owned the motorcycle and needed their aftermarket carb tuned up had racked up the bill to nearly $1500. Needless to say he made it clearly obvious that putting any amount of money into an aftermarket carb is not worth it. Now that I've learned all of this, I'm wishing I didn't toss the old carb for a $30 amazon one. In light of this minor f-up does anybody have any recommendations for high quality carbs for my vehicle? I've also attached pictures of the old carb and its condition for your curiosity, although its current condition is likely 6 feet under in a landfill somewhere.

I found this one on EBAY that advertises as a genuine OEM part for a fraction of the $650 that they're normally worth. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

For ATV and UTV enthusiasts, regular maintenance is key to ensuring the longevity and performance of your vehicle. One of the most overlooked yet essential components is the battery. Just like in cars, ATVs and UTVs require a reliable power source to start the engine and power additional features like lights, winches, and electronic accessories. Understanding why changing your ATV and UTV battery at the right time is essential—and why Weize batteries are a top choice—can keep you out on the trails longer and reduce the risk of unexpected battery failures.
Why Changing Your ATV/UTV battery is Crucial
      1. Prevent Unexpected Breakdowns
Imagine being out in the wilderness, far from help, and suddenly your ATV won’t start. A reliable battery ensures that your vehicle can always start up, keeping you safe and ready for any situation. Old or degraded batteries lose their capacity to hold a charge, increasing the likelihood of sudden, inconvenient breakdowns.
      2. Improve Overall Performance
A fresh battery doesn’t just guarantee startup; it also supports optimal performance. ATV and UTV batteries power important accessories, such as headlights, which are crucial for visibility in low-light conditions. A weak battery can dim your lights, affect the functioning of electric winches, and even disrupt GPS or other electronic equipment. A new, high-quality battery helps maintain the consistent power output necessary for these essential features.
      3. Extend the Life of Other Components
An aging battery can strain other vehicle components. As the battery weakens, it requires more effort from the alternator and other electrical parts to maintain a charge. This added stress can wear down the electrical system over time. Replacing the battery on schedule can help to reduce strain on the alternator and prevent more costly repairs down the line.
      4. Adapt to Changing Seasons
Temperature fluctuations can significantly impact battery life. Colder temperatures reduce battery efficiency, which can lead to issues during winter months, while extreme heat can cause rapid battery degradation. Changing your battery seasonally or before long periods of extreme weather can help avoid seasonal breakdowns and extend battery life.
Why Choose Weize batteries for Your ATV or UTV?
When it comes to replacement batteries, Weize is a top choice among ATV and UTV enthusiasts. Here’s why Weize batteries are particularly suitable for powering these rugged vehicles:
      1. Exceptional Durability
Weize batteries are designed to withstand tough conditions, including off-road terrain, shock, and vibration. Whether you’re tackling rocky trails, mud, or hills, Weize batteries are built to last. Their rugged construction helps to ensure reliable performance even under the most challenging conditions.
      2. Long-Lasting Power
Weize batteries use high-quality materials that allow for a stable charge and dependable discharge rate. This long-lasting power translates into fewer replacements, saving you money over the long run. Weize batteries are built to provide reliable starting power and can handle additional loads from accessories, ensuring that your ATV or UTV gets all the energy it needs.
      3. Low Maintenance and Easy Installation
Weize batteries are designed with a focus on low maintenance and easy installation. Many models come pre-charged and sealed, meaning they’re ready to use right out of the box. This ease of installation makes them an ideal choice for riders who prefer a straightforward setup with minimal hassle.
      4. Affordability and Value
Weize offers high-quality batteries at competitive prices, making them a great value for ATV and UTV owners. Despite their affordability, they don’t compromise on durability or performance, providing excellent quality without the premium price tag.
      5. Environmentally Responsible
Weize prioritizes sustainable manufacturing practices, ensuring that their batteries meet environmental standards. This focus on eco-friendly production is a plus for ATV and UTV riders who want to reduce their impact on the environment while still enjoying high-quality equipment.
Signs It’s Time to Change Your battery
To maximize your ATV or UTV’s performance, be aware of the signs indicating that a battery replacement is necessary:
Slow Engine Crank: If your engine takes longer than usual to start, it may be due to a weakening battery. Dim Lights: Dimming headlights are often a clear sign that your battery is losing its capacity to hold a charge. Frequent Recharging: If you find yourself recharging the battery frequently, it might be time for a new one. Age of the Battery: Most ATV and UTV batteries last between two to four years. Regular replacements can prevent unexpected breakdowns. Final Thoughts
Changing your ATV or UTV battery when it shows signs of wear is essential for reliable performance and safety on every ride. Choosing a dependable brand like Weize ensures that you’re investing in long-lasting power, durability, and value. With a new Weize battery, your ATV or UTV will be ready for every adventure—whether you’re out on the trail or tackling heavy-duty tasks. So before you embark on your next journey, make sure your battery is up to the challenge, and consider Weize as a trusted choice for dependable power.

Hi quad is up and running now, starts fine, revs and ticks over fine but when riding its bogging a bit. If your sat with engine running its fine but when you set off your having to rev it very slowly to go otherwise it drops its revs. And i mean very slowly, try rev normally and revs just drop off then when your going its bogging slightly. I have tried adjusting air screw but doesn't seem to make a difference. Any ideas. Seems like an air problem but not sure.

Hi, I have been around everything with a motor since I was little, and finally purchased more to get my husband, and kids involved. I have 4 quads I will be searching around for information on. I have two 2002 Suzuki LT80K quads, a 1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250, and a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I have had different ones throughout the years, and plan on buying another Yamaha Banshee. I plan on trying to learn more about all of them, so I can customize some of them. I know nothing about them besides how to race them, my dad always took care of the rest, but figured it was time for me to learn.

I'm repairing a 96 Timberwolf 2x4. Many years ago a dog chewed the wires that go from stator to the rectifier/regulator, and I've had to use the pull start ever since. Ive since lost the plug for the stator and on the wiring harness side. I'm ordering a new stator that will also come with the female plug that I need to fix it on the wiring harness side, but I have no clue in what position to put those 3 white wires(ones I'm holding with electrical tape on them) back into the new plug. Since they're all the same color, does it matter? Any info on this or pictures anyone has of their own will be very much appreciated.
