'02 KLF300 carb heater.

I installed a new China made carb months ago. So far all is well.  This carb has a heater, while the original did notI never considered hooking it up.  Here in far N. Ga,  0 deg. is about the coldest it normally gets in a bad winter. Should I bother hooking the heater up and will it need a sensor or just an off/on toggle switch? Totally new subject to me.

Meh. Your choice. I wouldn't bother since its not that cold in the south but its a neat feature that supposedly makes it start and idle a bit easier in cold weather. Probably a necessity in the far north.

I don’t think it would advantageous to do that since the harness does not have that feature built in. The heater comes on based off of a thermostatic sensor that tells it to turn on and off.  It’s manageable to do and could be done I guess  but it’s prob not worth the effort especially based on where you live.

      Hi all,
      Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.

      I'm sure this has been tossed around on here numerous times but with the unveiling of the new KTM fuel injected 2 stroke. Could this be the first step in a come back for my beloved double ding ding machines. Ok lets hear it. Why do you like one or the other??? Myself, I always felt it was the throttle control and Powerband response with the 2 strokes. I know this sounds weird but on a 4 stroke, no matter size or model. I always felt like i was along for the ride instead of in control. I've spent hours on my buds 400EX, even took a new 450r for a spin. before they discontinued them. Blasters, Banshees, and a number of 125's, 250's and even one late 80's Honda XR250R... Results all the same. For me its a comfort and control that im used to with the 2 strokes.... and i love the smell of bean oil... So lets hear it. Im sick of arguing with same two people at work on this issue.

      i need to replace my tire on my atv and i want to know if somebody have a good tire experience on mid-mud terrain and winter plowing. im not sure if i am to go with a tile like a tractor thread or the other ones like ITP mud lite

      i just bought a yamaha moto 4, i have sprayed 'start ya barstard' into the carb and on the spark plug and it doesnt even fire! although when i have the spark plug on the outside of the motor it shows spark, the engine also leaks oil from the starter,
