Rocky Mountain ATV Specials

Recommended Posts

wow, that's some great stuff...especially now that its getting to be riding season for many of us northeast folks :)

and rocky mountain has a frequent buyer program...if you spend over a 1000 bucks in a year w/them they'll give you a gift certificate for 5% of what you bought. In January I got a certificate for almost 70 bucks from them!!!

and, they have GREAT customer service!!!! They are my number one choice to buy from when I need anything!!!

I have a 2000 Honda and I can get all the parts I want for it!!!!

Also, check out the closeout sections of RKYMTN and Dennis Kirk to find really great specials on gear and other stuff.....

I usually can get a decent pair of Thor riding pants for my Husband of either for like 40 bucks at the most...granted he wears a 29 inch waist......but they have great deals, none the less.

I htink probably because they stopped makin the warrior , its more difficult for me to find stuff for it on sites like RMATV. Dennis kirk does have alot more for my quad though. Also Chaparralracing.com has alot too.

my honey's a sweetie, and a cutie, and being so small, he rocks on the quad...he's 140 pounds soaking wet

plus, being so small, we save a lot of money on his gear!!!! although he has been through 3 helmets in the past two years....

actually, one of the helmets we got from rockymountain, it was the torq brand, and when he broke his visor, i couldnt find one to replace it on the website, or anywhere for that matter....in the customer reviews i stated that, not even 2 weeks later they had shipped me a new one for NO CHARGE...

now that's GREAT customer service if you ask me!!!!

having an issue with the unit when running under a load up a hill or in high gear, seems like the belt is slipping, there is a clapping sound coming from the primary clutch like it releases and snaps back in. i don't think I should have a noise like that. this is a friends unit and he has already replaced the primary twice with the same result.
not sure where to look next

My king quad 700 runs rough when cold then won't start some times but not often when it's hot. And occasionally smoke's a lot when it's cold I'm guessing that's rings but I'm worried unless it's causing the other problems

Has anyone else had an issue on older king quads where the oil would leak from the top of the head (due to a failed gasket) and drip onto the hot exhaust? Mine got so hot one time it caught fire. Just wondering if this is a common issue, as I've seen the same thing happen on multiple bikes that were the same model.

My 2014 750 king quad stalls sometimes when I touch or turn the handlebars, the problem has gotten worse,my machine has 475 miles and is only trail ridden,I have a new factory battery and i have 14.2 volts when the quad is running and 13.3 on the battery when not running, also using a multimeter there is no change in volts when turning the bars until it does stall,If I pull the 40 amp power steering fuse it will not stall.......I've been told its the ECU,Hate to buy one if thats not the problem, but its kinda leaning towards that,,,,,need some opinions.
