Hey Roody! Glad you came. Certain Can am Fans over there are making it lame. So, I've been going through and inviting all the people that I think are cool and who can supply our members with worth while post.

Yeah, ATVFan is having some "issues" as of late. Not sure what's going on over there, but I'm doing all I can to keep the site from dying completely.

Stoopidbot and BuckBilly, good to hear from you guys!

TBlazer I think yer prob right!

I think BuckBilly is right too.

IMHO I think theyre trying to sell atvfan. perhaps theyll sell it to can-am. and that's a shame, cuz we started out at 120 members there and took it to nearly 6,000 and suddenly they don't care what we think. Oh well, their loss, I'm pleased with the reception I have received here to be sure!

yeah man it does happen! years ago was atv connection and bluetraxx, I still visit, people migrating is a good thing since they know what NOT to do to a site hehe. Plus people's tastes change too.....as long as you have a cool, polite site, it's gonna grow. and for that you need creative, empowered moderators, not powerless targets and 'bots' checking up on you. In five years there I never banned one single person and neither did Roody. We made a pretty good team. all for naught it would seem.

Once again, HAPPY to be here! will have some videos when I figure out how the wireless works on this laptop...

Roody are you going to jump too! Wow ! Or are tou just visiting?

Haha, I'm sort of doing both. Trying to become a regular poster on here, but I still help out at ATVFan.

I am in NO WAY bashing ATVFan. It used to be an awesome site, and things just started getting worse. I'm still doing my best to "salvage" it.

i dont like to bring it up becuase i feel like i'd bash it too much.

they started to hate me becuase i posted too much or something.

which i think is close to impossible.

then came the can-am worshiping.

i just got banned on purpose from there.

found a new home that loves some OT convo.

so im happy.

o and people here appreciate your quad no matter how small or weak it may be.

like mine.

As noted, new member checking in to look around.  Mainly interested in troubleshooting ideas and technical information.  Currently rebuilding a carb for a 2006 400 Big Bear for a friend.  Needing the float height, will post request as soon as I find the proper sub-forum.

New guy here from Long Island New York. Just acquired a 2000 klf300. Grew up wrenching on dirt bikes, moved onto Jeeps and cars. Picked up this project as a toy to take to some family owned land in Vermont to tool around on.  Been sitting for years so needs to be gone through but looks clean for it’s age.  Pics to come!

Rear brake pedals very soft,I think all of a sudden as the kids have been riding this one.
      Changed pads-calipers in great shape
Bled brakes--no change--apparently need new master cylinder?
Never had any type of vehicle where the master cylinder actually failed

      Hi folks!
Just dropping by to say hello. I'm from Wellington, New Zealand, and I've owned pretty much every model of quad available since 2004. Currently have a 2011 YFZ450R, 2017 KingQuad 750 and a 2021 Sportsman 1000.
      See you out there!
