well . . I wouldn't mind one fir thrashing . . .

I'm pretty content with the CFmoto 800 . . really content.

But a lighter quicker one would be a blast . .

so I could see how they could be a problem.

Agreed! It is temporary, after you get a few and get them up and running and looking good, then you have to decide which one to ride today, and maintenance, it seems like you never get finished with one before you want to start on another.

I feel you, my stable

2005 rappy 660 686 11.5:1 kit, head studs, flat trak aka smal azz cam, quicksilver carb, intake, air box (junk don't do it). Header, slip on. always breaking down pos.

2004 rappy, bone stock and faster than the 05. Never breaks down. I feel like this one will outlive me.

2000 400ex 440 kit, kibblewhite valves, 7 angle valve job, intake and head ported a little, big azz cam. header, slip on, pod filter in airbox and knn lid.  Also faster than the 05

350 Rappy slowest sport quad i've ever ridden. bone stock, sounds like it already blew up and we're limping it home. 100% dont like it.

220 bayou, basket case, probably not worth fixing. We're going to anyway.

400 honda utility quad semi auto. feels like a cadillac compared to the rest of these. Zero problems. Why? It's a Honda.

a couple polaris sprotsmans because they came with a truck I bought. Not a polaris fan so they're rotting in the garage until i'm about to die of boredom. Just don't love the centrifugal clutch.

I'd say yes. addicted. lol

Wow...I packed a small soft side cooler with an ice pack  at -4 F and inserted my Type K thermocouple sensor inside so I could monitor the temperature without opening.  After 3 hours  the inside temperature was 60  F...OMG!   The ice pack  was solid frozen.   Standard temperature for safe storage is < 40 F.     What I found by asking was that there should be no air space in the cooler.  Packed with Ice preferably ice from connivence store (normally 0 F of less).  Food should take up  short day trip1:1 ratio.
      Good coolers are expensive.

Bought a 88 big bear 350 4x4 took it for a run and lost spark, found it was stator so I replaced that then took it for a long run and it sat for 2 days and no spark again, this time stator tests good on ohms and voltage for source and pick up coils so I started replacing things including regulator, ignition, ignition coil and plug cap, spark plug and everything tests great including all safety switches until the orange wire for ignition coil from the cdi it only reads 3 volts so I replaced the cdi and still 3 volts, any ideas??

Fixing for a friend. Atv was at a different friends house to be fixed and he rebuilt the carb and had it running nice, then it shut off and no more. He replaced the key and the coil.

So he got busy, so I am helping, I checked the wiring from the stator to the cdi, and from the cdi to the coil. All is good. I checked resistance on the pickup coil, good, and on the source coil, open. I buy a new stator (China) and the 4 prong plug only has 3 wires in it while mine has all 4. I checked resistance in the source coil and it's in the 300's. I pulled one of the old pickup wires out of the old stator and wire it in the new one. Still no spark.

Why do the wires differ, I checked the VIN again and it's "J" for the year and I got a 1988 stator. Please help!

Hello all, I have a 2006 Polaris Sawtooth with no spark. It has a dead battery but with a jump pack on it, it will still not Spark. Plug is good, Throttle ETC is not closed, Stator pick up coil seems to Ohm out in the correct range, Unsure how to properly check the CDI. And when ignition is on the Neutral and reverse light come on but after cranking just the neutral stays on.

      Any help would be great,

      Thanks!
