New here. Got in a bit above my head with a SH$T Cart, so here we are looking for more info...

Was told there was some good information on this forum, so I'm here engaging in some good ole conversation haha. Bought a buggy aka shitcart for 100 dollars. Thing was a woods toy for the past owner. Used and abused until she went boom and was left in a field to die. All things considered that may be an exageration, but the top end of the warrior 350 that was on board was absolutely mangled. Piston and head assembly were totaled. Have a new jug, piston, and head assembly, but struggling to get the crankcase back together without the transmission binding. Can share pics that are on my phone if anyone is interested in seeing this shitty story unfold.

Iv heard that story more than once, happened to me more than once, this is what I do, transmissions can be tricky, double check to make sure everything is where it needs to be, don't forget the shims they are easy to loose they stick to other parts.Gear clusters have to be installed together with the shift fork, come down slowly with the other case half, wiggling it as you go down, should fall in place, make sure its not binding on the crank bearing, if its binding there you might need to put a little heat on bearing. Why did you have to split the case to replace top end?

I've never even hear of the anything going bad in an older crankcase, im terrified to even open one up, sounds like im right to feel that way lol, cept HF 212 predator engine I opened to remove limiter but that thing is relatively simple compares to an atv im sure. Swapping jugs is my upper limits. Sad this guy never replied and followed thru, definetly in over their head I guess if they stripped it that far just to swap jug.

Haha, I'm still around. I posted on a few forums and thought I posted updates on all. It was the smaller gear tower on the left side. I had a parts engine that I was able to swap it out from. I think reverse was out in it originally too, but all is going well at this point. Waiting on parts right now. Needed a new stator, but I just went ahead and got a complete wiring kit along with it. Going with all I think it's somewhere like 97- 2001 electronics. I think the guy before me wired the starter to the 12v source going to the headlights or something. At least that's what I saw. The wiring was a damn mess. Planning another post when I get it completely together. Case is already together, and clutch side is already together.

Nightmare fuel lol, glad you got it straitened out, the "in over my head" feeling is a terrible one, really wish I had gone to school for this stuff but I never knew it's what I was going to be into at the time, oh well, learning the hard way still works I guess haha.

I personally just destroyed a freshly bored jug and new piston/ring kit. Took like 2 minutes, another 200 for the service goes poof. I've taken apart and reassembled enough of these to almost be coincidered seasoned so this was a bit of a blow to me.

I hope your machine rips!

      Hello there
I'm having a problem finding a quality carburetor for a 1993 Suzuki Quad Runner lt-f 250 2x4. I find a lot that have 3-4 star ratings. And all so far don't have the right throttle Cable inlet at the top. The last one I got 4 star on Amazon has a threaded cable sheath rest that could be partially drilled to work. I would prefer to get one I don't have to modify. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I am in the process of puting it back together after replacing the DPS gearbox.
The manual I have states that it will need to be flashed by a dealer. Is this still true?
Also , I have a mystery bolt That I cannot remember where it goes. M6x 70 or so.  Hex head with a flat washer.I will try to attach a pic.
Pic is no go for now....Cox issue I will try again later
      TIA
