Prevent mud stains

I use ArmorAll or similar vinyl preservative on the plastics, and keep the engine polished with Colonial Brassy or Wizards metal polish, I haven't had any problems. Just don't let it stay on there very long some mud can be very acidic.

You mean I should let the mud stay long? Or the chemicals?

I will try the ArmorAll  preservative on the plastics, and keep the Wizards metal polish ro for the other parts.

How should I keep the harness and connector protected from mud/water?

I meant not let the mud stay on there very long, vinyl protectant, I spray it let it alone for about an hr and wipe the excess off, it really just replaces the moisture lost by sun exposure and age, the metal I just keep it polished and smooth, wiring harness I don't worry about that too much, but I don't do a lot of heavy mud riding, where you need a snorkel to keep the engine running, I do have a snorkel but I try to be semi respectful of the machine.

I use Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray on my plastics. Don't spray on your seat or hand grips, it makes them slippery.

On the engine I just get the majority of the mud off then use an automotive engine de-greaser like Gunk or Oil Eater.

As far as the harness just keep an eye out for any breaks and fix them immediately. If you can, wrap your harness in split loom wrap and make sure it's taped up real good. Also use some dielectric grease in your connectors, it's fairly inexpensive and helps prevent corrosion by keeping moisture out of the plugs.

Fill electrical connectors up with vaseline or white petroleum jelly(same things) and it will waterproof them. I used to put it all over my HT leads and cap too and could go through water up to the handlebars on my old two wheelers.

Is there any spray you can used for the connectors?

Nothing as good as vaseline..  WD40 maybe. Or some spray on grease..

I actually use white petroleum jelly which is a slightly heavier grade of vaseline, and there is amber petroleum jelly also thick. Both can be got in tubs from an engineering supply shop I'd think. It's cheap and good for holding things in place when you are assembling things and waterproofing and several uses.

Dielectric greases work the best on connectors.  Vaseline isn't good for plastic connectors, over time they make the plastic brittle.

Does anyone use GPS, whether on a device or app to record their ATV trail rides? I have been thinking about a section where our members can upload let's say a .gpx file and share their rides on a google map for others to see where there are riding areas. Not sure if this is something of interest or how much it would be used, so just trying to get an idea.

So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.
