the fox float evols(the ones with rezzies) only come in Long travel, so they wont fit stock a arms. so you'll have to have lt a arms for them to ride correctly. but the floats without rezzies do come in standard travel. the elkas you can get in standard travel to fit your stock a arms.

That is incorrect. The Fox Float X Evols do come in a 17" for standard travel.

Well,,,,If you talk with Becky or Tim,,,,,Im sure you can set something up.....They are more Geared toward the Dunes because they are near Glamis.....That is where they make most of their Business with the Buggies and Drag Quads.....I customized the Two that I have for what I do.....The one on my X is like riding a Couch on the trail or in the dunes.....Great Rebound and I can hit the Whoops 4th Pinned and just lean back and Ride the Tops..... My Z has the comp shock....Less Rebound,,,Built to Raptor length with Banshee eye's (Gives me 1" more Travel:wink:) Set up for the +6" Swinger and when you Grab the Whole Shot She just sits and Stays for ya....Kinda like a Drag link.... Its all what you want to do with it....Since they Build them right there from Scratch.....you should be able to get whatever you want....

If you do,,,,Just tell them the Tri-Z Guy sent ya:wink:

Can’t for the life of me find replacement shocks for this thing!
One of my front shocks went out and I’m running around in circles trying to come up with a replacement after my JB weld fix broke for good.
I’ve seen other forums talk about jerryrigging snowmobile shocks to fit, and I myself just purchased 70$ shocks off Amazon from China that seem to fit the measurements, but is there really no other option?

Had fire start in muffler due to failing fuel pump &/or fuel pressure regulator.  Must I spend the $750+ for a new assembly from Arctic Cat?!?  Here's what I've tried so far.
Replaced fuel pump & regulator - both from Quantum. PSI is 60 rather than the 42 the dealer advises it should be, so problem persists.  I've now twice replaced the Quantum regulator & discussed w/ Quantum. They advise that they don't have an alternative regulator that would bring PSI down to 42. I've tried several in-line, adjustable pressure regulators but they either didn't work or I couldn't get a constant pressure from them. FYI, I've only tried the adjustable regulators for Fuel Injected engines however, it seems that they require vacuum to function properly.  When I can temporarily get the PSI right, everything works great.  Anyone else ever dealt with this problem, and, if so how did you fix it?  Perhaps I should adapt the fuel system to include a gas tank return line?
Any insights are greatly appreciated, Don

Hello I’m new here and was wondering is anyone knew of good replacement part numbers for front struts and rear shocks for this atv? I think I’ve found a new rear shock, that looks like the original but there is no dimensions or anything and was wondering if there are any afterMarket new front struts available. I know it’s a long shot but any help would be appreciated.

Hello folks, my machine wound up with I think water in the tank etc. It runs but speeds up and slows back down randomly. When not running I don't see gas dripping  from the drain nipple on bottom of float bowl and drain screw is closed tight. With normal idle speed I see no leaking. When the idle speed increases quite a bit on it's own, gas appears to start slowly dripping from float bowl drain nipple? I'm wondering if the carb is flooding and the gas is actually coming from higher up and just appears, to be coming out of nipple but, is actually running down the sides of the nipple? I put a kit in the factory Mikuni carb last year after sitting for a while and I think the gas in the jug I used had drawn moisture. I plan to pull the carb tomorrow and clean everything out. I was just curious if anyone else thinks it's probably something in the carb and is, acutally a flooding problem? Thanks Folks! 🙂

      Hello All
I have a 1987 Suzuki dual range 230 and a 96 bayou 220. I'm trying to figure what oil to use. I normally put Amzoil synthetic in most everything. But I understand there are concerns over the wet clutch. I've heard rotella 10w40 full synthetic,5w40 synthetic,10w30&40 non synthetic. I do live in Michigan, so temps cold and hot are encountered. It could be below zero or 90 degrees farenhight. I don't have manuals for them. Any help is greatly appreciated!
