outlander560 Posted December 8, 2008 Share #39 Posted December 8, 2008 use any pait brush just get rid of the hairs... also make sure the tire is clean i use a windex bottle full of soap and water and just wipe it clean of all dirt and grease..and then sand it with a high rated sand paper i used 500 or

Stoopidbot1 Posted December 14, 2008 Share #43 Posted December 14, 2008 The mods are not what ruins the motor. Not setting the motor up properly to handle the mods is what does it.
Sc0tt Posted December 15, 2008 Share #44 Posted December 15, 2008 I agree with Bot you have to make sure if you change one thing "air, fuel or spark" that you compensate with the others.
Stoopidbot1 Posted December 15, 2008 Share #45 Posted December 15, 2008 I have also seen people that put these boxes to increase the rpms to a number that is too high for the stock internals. The people who make a quad that is built to run at 30HP run at 70HP but don't change all the necessary stuff to safely run a small motor at those kinds of numbers...Those are the ones who ruin their machines.
