I am going to look at a 1998 Blaster this evening for my son. I was wondering if any of you Blaster or previous Blaster owners knew of anything special that I should ask or look for? I know the obvious 2 stroke stuff. Here is the ad from Craglist1998 yamaha 200 blaster

Wish me luck!

Thanks in advanced

i wuld suggest a hydrolic rear disk conversion. very good compared to the brakes on the blaster. i would look into rebuilding the carbourator(i found a kit for $15) also buy spark plugs, if you even attepmt going at an incline you will screw up your plug, trust me. 3 months of constant tearing apart isnt worth $3

You were fowling plugs, You can't drop a 2 stroke into low RPMs to lug it up a hill. You have to make that thing SCREAM!:aargh:

Well we got it. I can't believe I bought it with out starting it but it seems that the carb problems are worst than I thought. We are getting any gas through the carb it appears. I think the compression is a little low too. I will have to get a compression tester on it. It has a full Graydon Proline exhaust on it. It has been bored but we don't know how much. Tires are in good shape and it has a new set of bars on it. I did manage to get it for $350 dollars though. I am going to take the carb off tomorrow and see what I can find out.

Well bad news is we have to rebuild it. Compression is down to 50 psi. The carb is not in too good a shape either. I am looking on Ebay to find a carb and maybe the rest of it too.

Sound like a great project... even if it does need some work you can ususlly find blaster parts pretty cheap, even aftermarket stuff... how old is you son? is this his first ride?

My son is 14 and no he is graduating from a Polaris Predator 90. I am picking some stuff up. I need to sell his to get the money to do the majority of the work but I will be pulling it down this weekend to see what the inside of the cylinder looks like.

      Hey everyone,
I'm seriously considering a CFMOTO 600 Touring but keep hearing mixed feedback about parts and dealer support depending on where you live.
Before I pull the trigger, I'd love to hear from actual owners:
      - How long do parts usually take if your dealer doesn't stock them?
      - Have you had any warranty work done? Was it smooth or a headache?
      - Does your dealer provide decent service, or are you stuck doing everything yourself?
The value proposition is hard to ignore - seems like you get 30% more features for the money compared to the Big 3. But I'm trying to figure out if the potential service headaches are worth the upfront savings.
Would love to hear real-world experiences, especially from owners 2+ years in. What should a potential buyer know before committing?

I was wondering if anyone out there has a digital copy of an Owners Manual for a 2003 Suzuki 500 Vinson 4x4? I have a service manual, but no Owners Manual. I would like to know how to correctly operate/engage various features.
      Thanks

I've been checking out official channels, and you can see their full ATV lineup here: https://atv-centre.com/atv-sales/
