I remember hearing of using a Jetski piston but I dont remember which one....I also remember others having this problem....They just went to buying the whole kit when ever they were on Ebay or Craigs list...Sometimes Whole motors.....Others went with the 310 kit that used the 85-86 250R piston.....

Hope that helps......

In my opinion......I would go back to the Stock jug and pistons.....That way you can ride it....Save all the money you would have spent on a decent 85-86 R if you want that power....Night and day compared to the Air cooled motor....

Hi all.  New to the forum & quads.  Seems like a great place full of info.
I just recently picked up a 2005 Suzuki KingQuad LTA700.  I need a battery.  I've been reading up on conventional vs AGM types.  I have a Royal Distributing and Canadian Tire.  RD has 2 types avail for my year/Model a battery YTX16-BS CRANK $75, and BATTERY YTX20CH-BS YUASA $140.  Neither of these is the type from the manual FTZ16-BS.
from what I can tell... I think the only difference is the capacity with the $75 unit rated at 14 AH/10HR and the $140 unit rated at 18 AH/10HR ... which is the rating in the manual for the FTZ16-BS.  How much does this make a difference for nearly x2 the cost?
And about the models/type numbers.... what is important to know ... they all end in "-BS" but are the other details relevant or just manufacturer naming?

Looking for two stock front wheels for 92 TRX300 2WD.   I think they are 6 x11" size.

Just picked up a 2006 Dvx400. There is a switch I can't figure out what it is or where it goes. Has 3 wires (light blue, black and Yellow)

on my honda trx 500 we have no power to the ignition switch for starting or ignition
we have lights and horn working
      all fuses are fine
have traced through the harness and cant find any broken wires or bad connections
from what we have gathered so far the pgm fi unit is not sending any power to the fuel pump relay to power everything up.
if we put power direct to the ignition switch plug then everything works but wth the key in the off position.
does this sound like a faulty pgm fi unit?
