Is it possible to put a sport clutch on a 2007 Honda TRX 400EX? If so, is it expensive and will it be hard to do?

I am wanting a bigger quad and then use the 400EX for guests, etc. and I wouldn't have to worry about someone screwing up the clutch.

Both of my kids 2007 Honda TRX 250EX have them, which came from the factory that way.

I would call my local dealer but they are rude and not helpful.

Thanks

A good clutch kit is not too expensive if you just stick to the plates, discs and springs. If you want to replace the basket, center hub and pressure plate, you will spend some money. Relplacing the clutch is not too difficult. You should be fine replacing just the plates, discs and springs. Barnett makes good clutch components, I will be replacing the clutch in my LT-R with a Barnett Dirt Digger soon for about $160, it is a bit less for the EX. There are several other good brands too, Hinson, Pro-X, EBC, just do your research and decide what you think is best for your needs and budget.

most people dont know it but a cbr 600 clutches street bike will fit ur bike because they are the same except in fiber street are more agressive or go with drit diggers extremes or go all out for about $800. like i did for all hennson componits.

on my honda trx 500 we have no power to the ignition switch for starting or ignition
we have lights and horn working
      all fuses are fine
have traced through the harness and cant find any broken wires or bad connections
from what we have gathered so far the pgm fi unit is not sending any power to the fuel pump relay to power everything up.
if we put power direct to the ignition switch plug then everything works but wth the key in the off position.
does this sound like a faulty pgm fi unit?
