We have a 2000 Suzuki LTF 250 that we are having an issue with and a re looking to you members for ideas/help. This machine starts and runs great but after awhile when it gets hot (not overheated) but after 10 minutes or so it starts to bog down, loose power, miss etc. If I slow down too much it will stall and not restart until after it cools off again. This problem started happening AFTER we replaced the entire carburetor for a totally unrelated issue, so prior to that, it ran perfect. Any thoughts or ideas are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have a bad CDI. They aren't cheap, so I would test all the other ignition components first. If you don't have a repair manual, buy one, there will be simple tests in there to check the coil and such. It will also have a troubleshooting guide that you may find helpful. Also, check your wiring for loose connections and bad grounds. It also wouldn't hurt to pull the plug the next time the machine dies on you, ground it against the motor and check for spark, just to comfirm that the problem is in the ignition.

my ltf250 4x4 had the same problem. i replaced the plug and adjusted the carb because it had a fouled plug when i pulled it out. try a new plug and maybe a fuel pump because my fuel pump went bad and it did the same thing, like there was a vaccum leak. and there also may be air in the fuel line and pump
