I know it's all ATV's here, but here's our first video showing some of our guys getting ready for their 2,000 mile round trip ride to LA Supercross and back. It will definitely be a tough, but fun ride. If it goes well hopefully we'll keep making these videos for people to check out riding areas, and trails. It will be cool to test out some products and give reviews from the trail too!

Thanks for posting. looks like a lot of fun, Wish I could have joined you.

Have fun and stay warm.

Thanks guys. The ride started out a little rough, one of our bikes batteries died about an hour after leaving. We got it taken care of and we're back on our way though. We'll be putting our video and pic updates on here but if you want to see more updates you can check out our

New updates guys, there was a lot exciting moments yesterday that's for sure!

Day two dawned and we were ready to take off to find another battery issue. One of the KLR's was having fits. We attemped a bump start, but in 40 degree weather, it wasn't happening. After a couple other short cuts, we gave in and tore it apart. I guess the heated gear took more of a toll than we thought.

We were able to get on dirt outside of town. This combined with warmer temps had us in a much better mood. Most of us on this ride cut our teeth on dirt bikes and migrated to dual sport/adventure riding. Adam, on the other hand, came from the other side of the tracks. Needless to say, he is increasing his skill set!

Our prototype panniers are holding up, but our mount system needed some work. A very rough pole line trail wreaked havoc. I finally reached the limits of my patience and tossed the quick release stuff and had them bolted on permanent. It is nice having our engineer on the ride. He makes me feel like I'm a factory rider!

We made our way through Goldfield, NV. Outside of town is a junk collectors mecca. Someone has modge-podged several cars with stuff I can't even describe; poker chips, shells, sand, Santa Claus statues, etc. They have even woven a giraff out of shredded pop cans. Good stuff.

That's awesome ! Would have loved to have been on that trip. I've been seriously considering selling my DRZ 400, and buying a KTM 530 EXC dual sport for a few months now. Your trip footage just might push me over the edge come spring. Thanks for the updates.

Sunday 1/23/10 – Today we decided to head south to see the Salton sea. The morning started out with no problems and we expected (hoped for) a smooth sailing day. We made it to the Salton sea. It is huge! It was pretty windy and stinky!! We looked around the visitor center. I guess it was quite popular back in the 50’s and 60’s. They are working to clean it up and revive it now. The beach is loaded with dead fish (which explains the smell). Infact, the sand looks like it is made from fish bones and scales.

Love the cars, you know someone has alot of time on there hands. LOL.

Thanks for keeping us update on the our trip.

How many miles have you guys gone?

We've went about 1,500 miles so far. Should be back home in Payson by sometime tomorrow.

We finally got back last night at 7pm, we left in snow, we came back when it was snowing! Perfect way to end the trip, ended up with 1994 miles on the trip. I'll have more pics and videos up on our Facebook soon. We'll also have our product reviews up too!

      Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!

      I took this video back in 2007. Recently the trail (old railroad grade) I was riding was converted into a walking trail (obviously no more ATV riding on it) 👎 I dug up this old video and put it together since it shows the entire section and what it used to look like. The quality of the video is lacking, but this was from 18 years ago. Image stabilization didn't exist back then so I wore the camera on my helmet. (mounted to the quad was useless with all the shaking) so there is some annoying frames of me looking around. I noted any historical items from the railroad in the video. There is a section where the railroad grade is wiped out due to erosion so I had to jump off it and ride an abandoned road for a section to get around it.

      So I decided to pick up a small trailer if I could get one for the right price.  I found this one for a few hundred bucks on Craig’s list.  It is  a galvanized trailer which is exactly what I was looking for. The wood was shot and needed some minor repairs which I could care less about as long as the chassis was good. 
      I striped it down and put a new deck on. I had some vinyl realtree graphics that I had laying around so I added them to the fenders which I think worked out well. Very happy with this little guy.  
      I'm having the iron workers at my jobmake me up a few lightweight side rails that will have a 22 degree bend in them to accommodate the tires that slightly hang over the edge and will incorporate some tie down points as well.
