Need advice asap

Recommended Posts

I'm considering buying a 2000 Arctic Cat 400 4x4. The dealer I'm purchasing from just got it in on a trade in. The ATV has 4,100 miles on it. The body is in great shape for being 11 years old. The seat is good and the tires are about 50%. The dealer won't budge from $2,500 and I think I'm getting screwed. The KBB is $1,800 for retail. What are your thoughts good or bad deal?

Sounds a little high to me but sometimes it's worht paying a little more for a machine that has not been abused and has been well taken care of. I would look around a little more and if you look hard enough you will find that machine that has been taken care of and for the right price, good luck!!

I see quite a few ads for that  Tribotex additive. It's kind of expensive, has anyone used it it their ATV or any other vehicle?

The stock driver seat cushion is separated at a seam. I took the seat apart and found that the material has torn and cannot be re-stiched. I'm trying to find a replacement seat. Any suggestions? Hoping for a used seat but couldn't find one on Ebay.

I plan on using my ATV to hunt. What have you found to be the best method for carrying your rifle that is secure and allows removing quickly to pursue an animal?

1996 4x4 Timberwolf rearend width. Can someone with some knowledge of these machines answer this question for me please. Are all 4x4 timberwolves this narrow in the rearend? These tires are so close the right one actually rubs the muffler.  Thinking about seeing if there are any spacers out there for it. I need at least an inch more clearance.
