2008 or 2009 Suzki LTZ 400 ???

Hey guys I am thinking about buying my wife a new quad I found a 2009 LTZ 400 the fuel injected model, for 3500 the guy says it maybe has 5 hours on it and still looks brand new, or I can get a brand new 2008 off the showroom floor from a local dealer that still has some left from 2008 for 4000 out the door, just wanted to see what you all thought would be the best deal thanks!!

The 2009 goes way faster! My buddy has one and kept up with my brothers 08 450er when it was stock. Keep in mind that the 450er is carburated. Also, youll probably be able to get warranty for the 2008. My friends 2009 z400 has given him various problems with the clutch slipping and skid plates being rubbed by the chain.

Do you know if he is running a full synthetic oil? if so that would be why the clutch would be slipping, I still cant decide but my wife likes the looks of the 2009 so we will proably go that route.

      Has anyone found aftermarket CDI for Big Bear 400?

      I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.

      I got a 2005 350 Raptor Special Edition and I'm dealing with a no start issue; the weirdest thing is when I'm cranking it fires and slows down showing signs of pre firing, smoke shoots out the carburetor every time it sparks. every electrical part (CDI, Rectifier, Stator, Coil) has been swapped out from previous owner, the top end of the engines all new and I cleaned the carb out, anyone got any ideas or similar problems, also is it possible to have a bad spark timing
