I need help please. This is all new to myself & my husband. We have gotten 2 used fourwheelers so we can ride with our kids (kids have go carts). One of the 4wheelers is a 1998 Suzuki Quadrunner 500 4x4. It has rearend trouble.
We are having a difficult time finding new or used parts, & no luck with aftermarket parts.
Hoping someone here can help. We were told by Suzuki dealership that some Artic Cat parts will interchange, but he wasnt sure which ones & said there are companies that produce aftermarket parts, but wasn't any help there either.
Any help or information is greatly appreciated.... Thank you.

While cruising, my 2011 750 king quad suddenly shut down. As it happened, red lights on the display flashed. Any ideas? My head lights suddenly stopped working about a week ago, if that helps. I have no power at all. Thanks

Looking for the rectifier. Most bikes have near magneto. It appears the KQ has it in front.
Can someone tell me exactly where it is?
Bike not charging and magneto checks out ok

Hello ladies and gents. Just picked this guy up in October and getting around to doing the required maintenance to make sure everything is right before any long rides or work is done.
Some background: I am I believe the 4th owner, (however the 3rd didn't actually ride it). It has unknown hours or odometer due to what appears to be a common issue.
I have noticed the fuel gauge doesn't work (just keeps flashing empty),
I did come across a google search that mentioned these were a common problem but was fixed by replacing the dash (seems like overkill) and another post mentioning someone attempting a fix.
Any particular issues on these quads to pay attention to beyond the dash ?
Going to be replacing the rear tires, oil change, filters and plug. Anything else I should do with an unknown history such as diff flush/change ?
I believe there is a service manual here but I need a few more posts. Hopefully this post will drive some answers and more questions I might have. Thanks!

OK, sooo I finally did the old skid plate and screen removal to clean out my oil sump during an oil change... This bike only has a couple thousand miles on it. Runs like a top still... Very few issues over the years after buying it used.
But boy I wasn't expecting to see this! Piece of a circlip, stuck up in the screen, and a another shard of metal and maybe a piece of gasket material. Nothing in the oil but that... Pristine otherwise, and still runs like a top. Always has.
Soooo, is it a wrist pin clip? That's the only thing I can think of like this that could end up in there. But definitely wanted to throw it out to guys that have seen the innerds of these more than I have.
The valves on this thing are still within the factory spec even. Been a really good lil workhorse...
Any other ideas?
