So I found these handle bar mounts and was wondering if anyone has tried them before and how you like them?

I've watched all the videos and they have me convinced! I'm all about comfort and these look like they will help. Just have to pony up to the $230 from Rocky Mountain.

The Fast Flexx bars will not work with the precision set up. The clamps have to slide onto the bar and the Flexx Bars won't allow you to do that. I read a few reviews and it looks like quite a few people have switched from the Flex bars to the Precision. They said they didn't like the way the shape/curve of the bars is always changing. The tracking already says I'll have them tomorrow, so I will try to get them installed this weekend and let you know!

Yeah whats the latest? Im going the flexx bar with rox risers and precision damper route instead. With the flexx bars you can control how much they flex too with the different rubber bushings

precision damper are pricey !!!

I know but that seems to be their only downfall. The dampers with the actual shock / piston always get bad reviews but are half the price. At this point with a renewed contract, things are getting busy so id rather set it and forget it.

I would love to add a stabilizer too, but I'm moving into a new house this week. I have way to many other bills right now lol. I got the mounts and they look and feel very high quality. The kit I have is supposed to include an adapter plate for Polaris models, but it was missing. The mounts all have the single stud style mounting and the factory Polaris stems use a 4 bolt style clamp. The adapter is supposed to make the mounts fit and spread them apart for a little better stability. So I have a call into them and hoping to hear back today.

too bad ... do they really take alot of clatter/shake etc out?

Sport quads don`t really clatter or shake but when you hit a root or rocks they absorbe the hit like power steering your arms don`t get tired

So Scrammy have you tried the new hardware ?

I had a Precision steering damper on my '06 YFZ and loved it. As soon as I can find $180 laying around I'm going to by a bracket and bolt it on my '10. Forearm pump is a killer.

No Pain, No Gain

I just got the missing bracket in the mail the yesterday. Sorry its taking so long to get these things installed. As soon as I move the moving boxes out of my garage, I will put them on sometime in the next couple of days. I'm very excited to try them out!

I am new to this site. I have a 1987 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport I think. Is there a difference between quadsport and quadrunner?

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

I’m brand new to 4 wheelers and just bought a 1987 Yamaha Moto 4 350. It has good compression and fuel, but no spark. I’ve looked high and low trying to find how to test all the components of the ignition system, but can’t find anything. This has a new CDI box on it, but I suspect it might be the stator. How do I test the stator on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i just picked this up. was told ran fine but overheating issues led to replacing head gasket and head. has not ran since. he is not a mechanic but helped someone else who he could not get back to finish job, got aggravated and put up for sale. i was thinking timing issues. i have 110-120psi on all 3 cylinders so i think valves are correct. dont know about distributor yet. however i have no spark. i have no power going to ignition coil. tried to follow white wire but gets lost in wire harness. does anyone have a wiring diagram? can anyone tell me what conditions have to be met before starting. motor turns over so i would think all safeties are met but you never know.
