i didn't read thru all the posts here because this laptop is slow, but as far as the tire issue, if the tire doesn't have a hole in it and it's just losing air from a bad bead seal, take the tire off the bike and let all the air out of it, and the rim side that has the dirt init, break the bead and just wash all the crap out of it. when you go to put air back in, you can move the tire enough to push itself back onto the bead 9 times out of 10 ...

lol i thought that would be bad due to the excessive power of a car running compared to the power needed on a quad.... well then i guess ill be stocking up on spark plugs

i see well then i guess ill look at getting another marine battery.

Side bar; Jerod you wouldnt by chance know anything about the gas pump would you?

i wouldn t by a battery made for a boat. the electrical systems on a boat and quad are different and a boat battery won t charge its self. and if your worried about it going dead while trying to start it just hook it up to a trickle chargeer it will be enough to keep the battery charged.

idk bout tht the altornator should still charge tht battery..... not tryin to be a smart a$$ but it would basically be like charging the battery with a normal battery charger:yes:......... and as far as hooking up the charger to it instead goes yes it will give the battery some juice but not near as much for starting as it would if you jumped it...unless it has the 50amp jumpstart option on the charger....and the boat battery WILL hold a charge longer than the quad battery tht is a fact...

make sure too that you drain the gas tank and clean it out good. and tear apart your carb and clean everything in it to.

ya the carb might need a lil bit of adjusting also...... u might need to adjust your idle a lil bit because it may be a lil bit low after sitting for so long..

if u DONT clean your carb its gonna make the quad sputter and backfire and all tht jazz ...... tht is if its real dirty but it may not be... wenever my 400 sat for a year and a half i never even cleaned the carb all i did was dump tht mystery oil in the tank, adjust the idle screw, then i just drove it around and let it clean itself out

I cant seem to find what this part is called. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I must be misinterpereting the parts catalog or something? I dont see it in the rear axle section. I think it may be in the rear brake assembly section? click link to view picture.

My king quad 700 runs rough when cold then won't start some times but not often when it's hot. And occasionally smoke's a lot when it's cold I'm guessing that's rings but I'm worried unless it's causing the other problems

Has anyone else had an issue on older king quads where the oil would leak from the top of the head (due to a failed gasket) and drip onto the hot exhaust? Mine got so hot one time it caught fire. Just wondering if this is a common issue, as I've seen the same thing happen on multiple bikes that were the same model.

My 2014 750 king quad stalls sometimes when I touch or turn the handlebars, the problem has gotten worse,my machine has 475 miles and is only trail ridden,I have a new factory battery and i have 14.2 volts when the quad is running and 13.3 on the battery when not running, also using a multimeter there is no change in volts when turning the bars until it does stall,If I pull the 40 amp power steering fuse it will not stall.......I've been told its the ECU,Hate to buy one if thats not the problem, but its kinda leaning towards that,,,,,need some opinions.
