I badly needed to get out of town, away from people, breathe some fresh air & I wanted to test out my latest mods … so what better way than to take a day & do some rid’in. :bannana_guitar:

Had a great day out in “Them Thar Hills” too. Saw Moose, Deer, Lots of Antelope, a couple Coyotes, some Ducks, a Golden Eagle, Chipmunks, …… SQUIRREL !! … and lots of squirrels !! :hammer:

Went to Millie Springs (about 62 miles from my home), then in a round-about way, made it over to Curtis Creek … found a new trail too … then back across Thousand Dollar Ridge …. Lots of dust, got caught in some rain that came down so hard it hurt the ole mug … but I missed the real downpour … which ticked me off !! …. But all in all, it was a great ride of about 60 miles. :woot:

I’m also glad to say, all the latest mods preformed dang good & I’m very happy with how the Can-Am hauled my rear thru the sage brush & over the trees !! :cheer:

Here’s a short video of the ride. Make sure you change the Quality of the video to 720p or 1080p & you’ll be able to see the one Antelope (Barely) & the ducks better if you do a Full Screen. :comp10:

Hope you enjoy it … :bouncing_smiles:

another awesome video. your editing is spectacular, I love all the different camera angles you use. I could spend a lot of time exploring a place like that.

THANKS Wylde1 Guy !! ... There are so many roads in that area, I've been on most of them, & some are closed off now ... but there's lots to explore out that way. :drivingc:

Glad you enjoyed the vid !! :cheers2c:

sweet Vid Gunny !! As usual

Yup, a nice mix of terrain that day ... I love the slow & go woods too. Just not many trails like that here. Found this trail by chance ... can't wait to visit it again !! :partyc:

I was looking to buy a new ATV.
I was debating between Polaris sportsman 450 and Honda rancher.
      Polaris it a bit cheaper.
But can you tell me which one will have more demand on the used market? Which one will keep it's value better?

Let's say 3-5 years from now.

I suspect this bike may have a bad speed limiter. The part number for is 4060204. I found this one on ebay but it has a part number that is 1 number different. (4060203). It has the same LR44-2 and says its for a 94 Magnum 425. Will this one work on my machine or do I absolutely have to have the 4060204? Your advice would be appreciated. Thank you

I have a 94 Trail Boss 250 2wd that will not go into forward. Reverse works great but forward just clicks but won’t engage. I’ve verified the shift lever is pushing far enough so I believe I have either an engagement “dog” or mating forward gear that are likely bad. I also see a fair amount of metal on the dipstick magnet. But if I ride the machine in reverse the gearbox seems quiet with no other issues by what I hear. That said I’m in process of pulling the gearbox to see what parts I need. The gearbox has 1341124 as the model number as shown in the photo below but I can’t find any gearbox on eBay or the Polaris parts site that matches that number. Is this 94 model a year that used some special gearbox? My tag on the box even looks different than all the tags on gearboxes I see for sale on eBay. I really want to buy new parts for the ones damaged in my gearbox to fix the one I have but just doing research at this point to see what gearbox I have to know which parts I need. Anyone with experience with this I welcome some advice or direction from what you have learned. Just FYI this machine is new to me but cranks, runs and idles perfect. It’s not beat up and will be a gem when I get this tranny fixed. Thanks.
