I am thinking about snorkeling my ltz-250. I was wondering if anybody has ever snorkeled a ltz? I took some pictures of how I want to run it. I just dont know what size I should use. It is going to be a homemade snorkel made from "pvc pipe". This first picture is where I want the snorkel to come out of the air box. Then is will run from the to where the second picture is. Then "through/under" the front fender. And Finally up by the front. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks, LTZRider

i've never seen any pics of an ltz done up, nor i have i seen any 'kits' available online ...

usually they use 1 1/2" to 2" pipe. the airbox and all the pipe has to be water tight, alot of work

and big gamble, IMO. jetting has to be re worked also. i know it would be cool to be different tho ...

if i was to play in the water with a sport bike, i'd be putting paddle tires on the rear and trying to

stay above the water rather than in it ... but that's just me.

there are alot of tutorials on youtube for snorkels projects if you want to better understand ...

Thank you for the information! I am still considering it. There honestly is only a few mud holes deep enough for a snorkel around here, but I would be the baddest four wheeler in the neighborhood! lol I wanna do it! just about money right now!

Hello folks, my machine wound up with I think water in the tank etc. It runs but speeds up and slows back down randomly. When not running I don't see gas dripping  from the drain nipple on bottom of float bowl and drain screw is closed tight. With normal idle speed I see no leaking. When the idle speed increases quite a bit on it's own, gas appears to start slowly dripping from float bowl drain nipple? I'm wondering if the carb is flooding and the gas is actually coming from higher up and just appears, to be coming out of nipple but, is actually running down the sides of the nipple? I put a kit in the factory Mikuni carb last year after sitting for a while and I think the gas in the jug I used had drawn moisture. I plan to pull the carb tomorrow and clean everything out. I was just curious if anyone else thinks it's probably something in the carb and is, acutally a flooding problem? Thanks Folks! 🙂

      Hello All
I have a 1987 Suzuki dual range 230 and a 96 bayou 220. I'm trying to figure what oil to use. I normally put Amzoil synthetic in most everything. But I understand there are concerns over the wet clutch. I've heard rotella 10w40 full synthetic,5w40 synthetic,10w30&40 non synthetic. I do live in Michigan, so temps cold and hot are encountered. It could be below zero or 90 degrees farenhight. I don't have manuals for them. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have a 1996 Suzuki Quad Runner 250 LT-4WD. What tools should keep on the atv at all times incase of break down for a trail fix? Share what you carry and share pictures if you can.
