Howdy all,

Name is Kurt. My wife and I hail from Wisconsin, currently Sheboygan. We are moving to Bowler in Shawano county inside of 3 weeks once the house sells. There are some great trails up that way.

We just purchased our first ATV, a Can Am 2013 Outlander Max XT 800R. Just about to order some luggage for the back as well as extra gas cans.

We did add heated grips and throttle to the ride, which for the moment, is our only modification.

That's about it for the moment. Pics to come, just busy packing and moving.

      Do You Use GPS For ATV Trails?

      Does anyone use GPS, whether on a device or app to record their ATV trail rides? I have been thinking about a section where our members can upload let's say a .gpx file and share their rides on a google map for others to see where there are riding areas. Not sure if this is something of interest or how much it would be used, so just trying to get an idea.
      Importing routes from files like xml, lmx, tour, freshroute, gpx, kmz, kml

      2006 LT-F400F stator/generator cover change: What is the best way to check that all is good with the transfer operation before reassembling?

      I have replaced the cracked stator cover on my non-running 2006 LT-F400F that I purchased recently, checked all the shafts vs the service manual and pics and advice here.  I replaced missing gears, bushings and washers, made sure that truth marks were all aligned properly, that the shift cam springs felt like they returned properly, etc.  IAfter installing the new stator cover I checked the transfer lever for proper movement from L-H-R and then cranked it up.  Happily, it runs and changes gears well in L,  but it will not shift into H or R for anything.  I have opened it back up and am going back through it looking for the missing puzzle piece(s) but how can I best check that I have everything right this time before buttoning it back up?

      Purchased a Yamaha 350 Big Bear I don't see any VIN number on it

      Hi, I am new to  this forum and I am happy to be here.  I purchased a Yamaha 350 Big Bear without a title and I cannot find a Vin number to find out what year it is.  I am hoping someone here can help me identify this atv. I checked on the main frame near the front A-arm left side found nothing.  I checked up near the radiator and found nothing.  Where else should I look?  See image below.
