I am back folks. My PC took a shart on me a while back and I finally got tired of doing all my online activities via smartphone, so I finally broke down and bought a new computer. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Josh and I like to help fellow members who are having mechanical issues, rebuilding, modifying or anything that they may have a question about. I am a fabricator and mechanic by trade, I even built one of my quads largely from scratch. I used square tubing to replicate a 1986 TRX 250R frame and stuffed a CR 500 motor in it. I am constantly adding or changing things and have put a lot of time in to customizing it to my liking. My other machine is a 2007 LTR 450, it has a few go-fast goodies and other mods, it has been very reliable and fun. Anyhow, I am back and look forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones as well.

      Starter not staying engaged while cranking

      Hi all,
      Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.

       I often work on both ATVs and larger construction equipment, and I’m always on the hunt for solid OEM manuals—service, repair, and parts. The usual searches give a lot of random PDFs or unofficial scans that aren’t very trustworthy.
      What online sources do you all use when you need a factory manual quickly? Are there sites you’ve found that consistently provide genuine OEM content for ATVs or heavy machinery?
      I recently came across Heavy Equipment Manual, which claims to provide verified OEM service and parts manuals (covering brands like Caterpillar, Komatsu, Kubota, etc.). Has anyone here tried it, or do you have other go-to resources you’d recommend?
      I’m interested in options that are:
      ·        Fast to download
      ·        Cover both heavy equipment and ATV models
      ·        Clear on licensing and safety

      Hello All
      I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

      Hi. I just bought an lt230 1993.  Ive started buying parts for a full rebuild.  But somehow beskepedal has been removed and pegs welded to where They are supposed to be screwed.    I was wondering if anyone have one and Could measure how far out the pegs are.  Like the peg the brake is put on and then peg outside of it.  And the one lower down.  So i can recreate them.
