Well, all I have to say is that whenever you ride any type of offroad vehicle, you take a chance of injury. Awareness and safety should always be a priority when riding.

I will say that those things do rollover. I had 2 friends roll one over but they were both ok. Why those injuries happened to those people, I'm not sure. I don't know if they have a case or not, it's hard to say.

That dog won't hunt !

Prepare and expect the unexpected...PERIOD !

Kinda funny how it did not explain what he was doing ?

most likely driving beyond what the machine can handle

much less the driver.

I feel bad that people get hurt or worse,However personal

responsibility, accountability and common sense always seems

to be lacking then someone gets hurt and it's the Machines

fault.

I agree with you all. It is always the operators resonsiblity to drive the vehicle within its limits. On the Rhino there are suffecient warning stickers that warn about the rollover risk. So I don't see how they would have a case. Accidents are normally always caused by driver error.

Yamaha now has a recall to get doors on the Rhinos. All you have to do is call a dealer and they will order and install them on your ride for no cost. I wonder if that has anything to do with this case?

I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.

So.. it a weird one.. The quad surges as you go down the road. By the looks of my tracks, it's one wheel only. High range, low range, 2 wd , 4 wd.. It just doesn't matter..
You can see in the pictures the marks it leaves. That was in a straight line, with hardly any acceleration.
      Any ideas?

Sorry I suck at these forums so if you see this submitted under update status, my bad. Anyhow this is a new shock for a 96 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 it fits my 96 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 4x4 perfectly. Little narrower are the bottom than the original but everything else is perfect. I extended it to almost a half in from full extension because I’m pushing 350 pounds.  It rides and hold me well. So if any of y'allRace driven shock. have been looking for one and didn’t want to do the research here it is.

Trying to see if there would be any interest in either or both of these groups.  I was surprised there was not already a Polaris Club--there could be so many sub-clubs...
