    It sounds like the starter cutout relay a little black box close to the battery, lights light up when the engine is running because it doesnt go through the relay ,power is generated in the engine. Thats why the pull start works generates own power to start the engine.

    Welcome! If you can fix cars you can fix this, although modern cars are like rolling computers, the 88 LTF not so much.

    Sorry to say i have never had the opportunity to work on one, but it appears to be a vaccum or vent line, see if it might go into the air box, Cant really see from the photo where it comes from. You might try plugging it and see how it runs.

    Fuel issue

    HELP -- I Purchased a non running 2010 Hisun Vector 500 from Auction and have been trying to get it going. Fuel System was extremely dirty. cleaned and replaced all components. Fuel Pump to Secondary fuel tank was not hooked up correctly and believe that I have resolved that issue? (Maybe someone has some pictures of the fuel system routing from tank to Carb that they could post?) Next issue is that I have a 1/2" Port on the back side of the engine that appears to have had a rubber line connected to it at some point, but is now missing and I have no clue what it is. I will try to post a picture.     Good afternoon, the buggy has not started yet, there is no spark. I checked all the electrical wiring and all the sensors. Writes 2 errors AC96 and AC99

    Just getting into this issue really. Been replacing solenoids but now I'd like to track down the problem. This time I'm not getting neutral/reverse lights or start button. Was on a creek ride when it started doing this recently. It cranks by arcing the solenoid and gives me no light or start button but if I crank with the pull cord....the neutral light and the button work. Turn it off and try to crank with the key and nothing. I'm looking into the safety switch issue tomorrow and re charging the battery. Just figured this was odd enough of a problem that you guys might be familiar. Thanks

    Buckees, interesting place, ever time i go there i say never again, absolutely the busiest place i have ever been, and i go to Disney every year, took me 20 minutes just to get out of the parking lot, right off I 20 close to Alabama, Florida line, so everyone going to Florida or Gulf Shores Al stops there, i always end up going back they have the best brisket sandwiches. I would probably get my non ethanol gas somewhere else.

    Even sideways your trailer will only be 78inches wide so depending on the distance from wheel to wheel ,you can let the excess which is not much hang over the edge. . If your SXS is 10 ft long that only leave you 2 ft in the back and you are 48 inches wide. Dont see how it will work unless im missing something.

      Hey guys and gals. I've been working on my friends 2007 big bear IRS. Unfortunately after 3 different people got their hands on it and only made things worse every time.  After months of finding just crazy problems everywhere. I'm finally at the point we're its almost 100% !!! But I'm getting a short somewhere between the 4xW switch I believe. I managed to by searching the internet like a  fiend, got my hands on an official Yamaha wire harness for the year and make. But I don't have the numbered component list and to be honest. After hours of going through and making everything so it's  easy to reference. If anyone has a picture of the referenced components. I would be forever in your debt. I've spent hours marking up the blown up diagram so it will be easy, for any possible future repairs. Please and thank you. Here's a picture of what i have so far.  Unsealed it in plastic so oil and crap won't spill or get smudged.
