  1. I made two sets one set 3/8 gap and another set with 2 inch lift for plowing wooded trail . If I mount them behind the plow I will need to weld a reinforcing strap on the trailing edge. I am very proficient with my 4 inch grinder making my welds look good.. Mike the explorer gave some pointers. The pvc pipe idea looks doable... 48 inch plow with mounting is heavy...110 lbs

  2. That should work very well to keep from digging in ! Try a length of 11/2 " Sched. 40 PVC . Cut a Full Length slit in it just wide enough to slide the PVC onto the Plow Blade !

  3. I made metal skid plates formy snow plow . It holds the plow about 3/8 of an inch off surface.

  4. A can of tire rim seal was $14! I was being cheap. But the rim was in almost like new condition. I Just checked ... It looked up and hard this morning.
