I've only heard one negative thing about the KTM. The gas tank has this ridge that is meant just for looks. If the rider is over 6 feet tall their knees WILL be beat to crap. That is one thing that scares me. There are times when I'm riding hard and the next day I will have bruises on the inside of my knees. My tank is perfectly smooth. When I'm riding hard I'm leaning over the bars while standing up. So those knees are holding on to that tank for dear life.

I'm a Honda diehard. Raptor would be my last choice. You know how Honda guys feel about Yammies. The same way they feel about Hondas. I would go any other brand before Yamaha. Nothing against them performance wise, just don't want Blue.

It's all about payments and credit. I was kind of thinking the Polaris 525. It still has the KTM motor and it does come with Fox shocks if I'm thinking of the right ride.

So I'm thinking ahead. When I decide to trade in my current ride or just get another, what should I get? I now ride a TRX450, I really want a KTM525 but the 08's are on back order so I don't see an 08 being available next year. The 09 is the same price as the Rhino, that's just stupid. Lets here what all of you think I should get. I ride mostly rocky wooded trails. I visit the dunes about only once a year. I don't touch track, what you think? Buying used is out of the question.

Brain Bucket is more often used with street bike riders. Alot of the peanut shell helmets they wear doesn't do anything. I have a buddy who is an EMT in LA. He use to tell me all the time how they would get to the scene and remove a helmet and that was the only thing holding their head together. As soon as they would move the helmet the head would open and the brains would pour into the helmet. Hence the term brain bucket.

I had my first car at age 10. Didn't get to drive it. Just worked on it with my dad, when I turned 16 I was set.

I know enough cops to know that ALOT of them are crooked. I know a cop that would sell the pot he took from kids. I know a supervisor that use to turn his radio off while he slept on duty. I know a cop that has lied in court to save his own as* and sent some one to jail for 6 months. If they are helping me, I'm sure it benefits them some how.

I mainly just do them when I have to. Come across some thing on the trail. Clear a huge rut.

I've never lost one doing it on a 4 stroke. I was on my old 2 stroke and the power band kicked in. Flipped me in a heart beat.

I get it! That sucks. Make sure the bolt that came out of the mount has a grommet around it. This will reduce vibration. Any bolt you put back on, use the blue lock tight on the threads.
