  1. Mine will do it in neutral also. get your ride idling in Neutral and see if it still does it. If it's only happening in 5th gear there is another issue. Is your ride very throttle sensitive? Meaning does it stall easy from a stand still?
  2. The way I worked around it was just trial and error. If I open fast but smoothly instead of all at once it doesn't do it. That is the only time it does it right? Just when you romp on it.
  3. I'm not making any promises but I don't think it's anything broken.
  4. That's your jetting. Mine does that too. The reason being on mine is I have an after market pipe and that's all. When I slam the throttle open I'm dumping more exhaust out than I'm takin in air. So it almost acts like it floods for a quick second. What elevation do you ride at? From the factory it is jetted to run at sea level. If you would have explained it like that along time ago I would have answered right away. The info I just gave was from my mechanic. Get your carb dialed in with a jet kit and that will go away.
  5. I don't think it applies to dirt bikes. I know for sure anything with 4 wheels.
  6. That's a wonderful idea!
  7. Sweet! Congrats, is it ready to ride?
  8. I just read that you should never use a synthetic oil in your tranny. Causes slipping.
  9. When will you be in Buena Vista? I'm from Denver. We are actually going there this weekend. Gotta let me know when you are there I'll ride with you. Thanks for all you do. Come home safe.
  10. I have never used anything but the stuff from the Honda shop. I won't use anything else.
  11. I've seen that video. I can't imagine slamming our Rhino into the ground if I messed up.
  12. What they are trying to eliminate is situation that I'm in with my Rhino. Just kinda BS. I know what counties I won't be riding in.
  13. I had problems with that and getting all the way into the other gears. Adjust your shift lever a couple of notches.
  14. I ride my clutch up it. Mine is fine.
  15. Learn to let go of the clutch sooner! Riding styles
  16. I hear ya. Change your style! LOL
  17. This just went into effect yesterday. Four counties in southwestern Colorado that passed a law requiring driver's licenses and liability insurance for ATV riders want the state to enact similar requirements. Officials in San Juan, Hinsdale, Ouray and San Miguel counties enacted the stricter law in 2006 to maintain safety on the Alpine Loop, a scenic, rugged trail through the San Juan Mountains that links Silverton, Telluride, Ouray and Lake City that has become a popular tourist attraction. State law does not require liability insurance and allows children as young as 10 to operate ATVs. A ranger last year issued 250 warnings and 15 citations, which carry a $150 fine. Officials say many visiting the area are caught off-guard by the local requirement and have threatened to visit other areas of the state.
  18. I had a buddy with a a Suzuki DR350, his clutch went out after a month and a half. Dealer was no help. He got a hold of Suzuki and they sent a rep to him. He personally checked it out and Suzuki rebuilt his whole tranny.
  19. Try sending an Email to Honda. Your dealer won't help.
  20. Welcome to the site. We are all a little sick!
  21. Take it back to the dealer. It should not be slipping. Do you ride with your fingers on the lever?
  22. I think they look like mud-lites on steroids.
  23. How is your clutch cable? Do you have any play in clutch lever?
  24. Congrats on the future rider.
  25. Anybody that makes their way to Colorado, We're more than happy to take you out on some trails. Our woods riding is alot different from the trails you guys race.
