I've been fortunate enough to ride others ATVs over the years but finally!!!! we are finally getting our own. Starting simple. Just picked up Yamaha moto 4 225 in good shape for the wifey. I'm hoping to find a foreman or similar in the 400-500 cc range. BTW. Does a 99 foreman have an odometer or hour meter? I just emailed a craigslist ad and the seller. Lard he didn't know the miles cuz he didn't think it would show any on the digital speedo. Is that true?? I've Ben lurking around the forum for a while and am amazed at how helpful everyone is to those like me just learning. Glad to be here.

I currently have 3 ATVs, one is a 1999 550 Yamaha Big Bear, a 2001 Kymco 125 and my new acquisition that was given to me. I have no clue as to what it is. Actually though it was a Raptor but realized after being blasted from the Yamaha forums that Yamaha never made a 110 Raptor....or so I was told. None the less it looks just like a raptor, is 110cc and is pretty freakin fast for a lil guy. Ill try to post some images and maybe I can get some feedback on what it is??? Thanks so much! Oh and hey! Hello to everyone! Im a newb! lol

Well, new to the forum but not new to ATVs. I've been on ATVs for the better part of my 25 years. It started out with a Honda Big Reg ATC shortly after I could walk. I later graduated to a Yamaha Warrior. That was my first exposure to sport quads. The Warrior was swapped out for a Honda Rincon when it became clear that welding a hitch to the warrior and calling it a utility quad wouldn't cut it. The Rincon was a great ATV that I still have around as the utility and toy for the mud. One of the best trips it took was the Silverton Colorado area. Awesome country: I then had an itch to get back into the sport world. I bought a Bombardier DS650X back in 2005. The quad has been great to me. I managed to bend all 4 wheels the first day I had it at the MX track. Turns out I have a photo from that day... I probably didn't bend them on this jump but one of them: All patched up with new wheels: The most memorable trip the DS has taken was a week long ride on the Hatfield McCoy trail system. Best was this shot one of the guys managed to get. That's me at the bottom after rolling a few yards down the mountain... a true testament to my riding skill I've also been involved in photography for several years. That's about it... glad to be here.
