    That is totally understandable logic. After every ride I was the bike and polish the plastics. Not showroom condition but my rides always catch eyes when they are behind my truck or on the trail. I like my toys nice and shiny.

    Just looked them up, have never heard anything about them. They look good. Light, and they are still a 6 ply tire. Go for it.

    I will have to look into it for you. I don't remember. This was about 3 years ago on a different machine that I no longer own.

    I just did spray. It eventually started to chip. Actually now that I think back, I used a clear coat specificly for plastic. Didn't require roughing up the surface.

    Lasted probably 2 seasons, No, I didn't rough mine up. I just cleaned the hell out of the plastic and did about 4-5 very thin coats.

    An easy way is to start an account with Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket It's free, you can upload your pics on there. Size doesn't matter, after you put the pic on that site. It will have 4 different codes under the pic. Choose the img code, it will automatically copy it, then just paste the img code in your post. If you have a picture editing program, open the pic with it and resize it to 800x600. That should work too.

    I would try putting the "Y" on it and giving it another tube. Just think how far the air has to travel before it hits the filter. I've even seen people who will seal off the air box. Have no filter in there, but have the filter at the end of your snorkel. Make sure you have a pre filter on it. Welcome to the site!

    First off, welcome to the both of you. Is the oil you used synthetic? Synthetic will cause slipping.

    I would be weary about a quad for 800 bucks. Check for caked on oil around the gaskets. Look for cracks in the frame. Etc.
