  1. So are 1st 2 days here were amazing. This place is beautiful. These are just 2 of the hundreds of pics we have so far. We have seen elk, deer, buffalo, moose, wolves, bears, and a bald eagle. I will post many more pics. Here's a tease. In this next pic you can see the reflection of the clouds.
  2. They are slowly coming in. We need some people to start new threads. Get others interested.
  3. My old IT 465 takes 24:1 and that is alot. 4:1 your gas would be like a milk shake.
  4. The bottom line shock from Elka will be MUCH better than what you got. I would go with the next step up.
  5. Take the pressure off the shock before you turn it.
  6. That's Admin for you. Always finding a way to improve. Amin, I'm a member on 4 different sites. This one is by far the best. Maybe not the most active but the most fun. We're getting there.
  7. I would say 32:1 is a good ratio. Call a Yamaha dealer and ask what they recommend.
  8. The steering may have felt tight due to the fact you were on pavement. As far as tires I would look into a GNCC tire. They are a 6 ply tire so very puncture proof. I run Razr2 from Maxxis. ITP has the Holeshots XCT and Holeshot GNCC, Kenda also makes a great tire. Can't remember what it's called but they are decently priced and they will last. Kenda is what I've always run on my 2 wheeler. Do not run at 4:1 or 5:1. My bikes have always run at about 32:1. What year is you bike?
  9. TX, you should feel very great for helping this girl out. I know how I feel when I help someone in need. You are doing an amazing thing here. KUDOS
  10. You got that right, but I don't make pig noises.
  11. I know what you mean, it turned me on too when your wife was prego!
  12. I don't know of any the bands they listed. I grew up on classic rock, that's what is usually on in my truck.
  13. Yeah, but you should look more into what each adjustment does. Cuz there is preload, compression, rebound, and 1 more I can't think of.
  14. I call rap talking to a beat.
  15. I think in the long run you would be happier with the more advanced. The more adjustability you have, the more you can dial it in for your needs. They are better than your stock because of the compression rating. Stock will bottom out alot easier.
  16. Looks great, get some MX or XC tires on that thing.
  17. Next you're gonna tell me rappers are singers.
  18. I was thinking Brady Bunch crossed with the Osbornes. Can you imagine Ozzy on here? Every post would be the unscramble game.
  19. Must have been a project for him. I can't think of a single machine since the 80s and ATC that had no suspension.
  20. Who you calling Toady? Let me know if I can help with any info.
  21. Your money. I would personally look for a CR.
  22. I don't know about converting but use this to pack. Fmf 4-stroke Silencer Packing - Exhaust Online at MotoSport
  23. I personally wouldn't take it for 1200. Maybe a a grand. He dumped the bike REAL hard to break all that stuff. Chances are he used it for jumping. Seeing as the forks are blown. How's the back shock? Check the frame real good for any cracks, Right around the foot pegs and the welds.
  24. Chad Reed is nothing more than a 3rd place rider. He can't stay healthy.
