  1. Are you doing glue down or free-floating? If free-floating what kind of muffler pad are you using? What kind of density on the pad 6# or 8#? If gluing, what kind of glue are you using, Bostics or Bruce?
  2. Not everyone has the luxury of riding out of their drive way.
  3. Does it do it for just a quick second? If so I would say it's jetting.
  4. I use FireFox. I don't have any problems. Or can you guys not see mine?
  5. I like the dunes. There is nothing like throwing a huge roost of sand but it gets old. You can only ride the bowls, climb the hills, and drag so many times.
  6. QuadCross is amazing. That is true racer ability. This is 1st hand what you go through. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IVotF2grTA]YouTube - Endurocross ATV Utility class main event 1-19-08[/ame] They do it on sport quads too. Couldn't find a video.
  7. I totally believe that there is a primate that lives in various regions. Almost every country and every region has some sort of Big Foot. For all those people that say that can't be real because they have never found remains or a skeleton. Chimpanzees, perfect example. We know they are real, how many remains or skeletons have they found in the wild? Less than 5. We know where they live, we know how long they live. Why can't we find their bones?
  8. What kind of riding do you prefer? Do you like trails, dunes, track, or drag strip? What's your poison? I prefer trails over anything. There is nothing like running through the woods and having to deal with all the elements. Trails truly test a riders ability. I know I can't air my quad out like alot of guys do but I can fly through logs, water crossings, I've passed big 4x4 quads on my 450 with 4" of ground clearance through some nasty rock fields. Rocks the size of volleyballs and bigger.(god bless skid plates) MX is cool but it is very repetitive, the dunes get old and dragging, well it's too short of a ride. I'm not trying to start a battle here, just some opinions.
  9. He's talking about when I mentioned that I normally run a 110 main jet but I switched to a 115 for the altitude change to Kentucky. Ended up going to Wyoming and ran at the same altitude I normally do.
  10. Honda might not be the fastest but it will always be the last one running!
  11. cough cough, BS cough cough
  12. I see, that must be why you ride a Yamaha! OUCH, BURN!!!
  13. I'm glad they helped. Good luck in the racing!
  14. I hear ya, We had to cut the end of the pipe so we could stretch it over the header pipe and the silencer. No Duct tape. Hose clamps.
  15. You are kinda going big on your tires. You will lose power with a 22" rear. You should really look at a 20" tire for the rear. And you want your fronts taller than your rear for racing. Stick with the 21" front but look at a 20" rear. Much better combo.
  16. Here is the requirements. 4x4 Open: (501-840cc) 4-wheel or 2-wheel drive shaft or chain driven automatic transmission/clutch production models that come with rack or rack availability as standard equipment 4x4 Lites: (201-500cc) 4-wheel or 2-wheel drive shaft or chain driven automatic transmission/clutch production models that come with rack or rack availability as standard equipment. 4x4 Limited: (201-840cc) 4-wheel or 2-wheel drive shaft or chain-driven automatic transmission/clutch production models that come with rack or rack availability as standard equipment.
  17. All white plastics with a black tank. Black frame and black motor. Chrome Nerfs, Bumper and grab bar. Oh yeah, either black or chrome rims.
  18. Look at Kenda's GNCC tire. Alot cheaper and just as good. ATV Parts, ATV Tires, Dirt Bike Parts & Motocross Gear - Kenda Knarly XC | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC
  19. I had a major case of back pressure or something, I blew my mid pipe out. It split right down the middle. So we cut the fence apart at the top where the vertical bar does a 90 degree turn to become the horizontal bar. It got me back with out going deaf.
  20. This is more of a quad cross but it's 4x4 racing. This is the same stuff I raced my quad in. 21. Easy there old man. I was making sure the kids knew what a grommet is. We know you and I can do some jimmy rigging. I actually fixed my exhaust pipe in the middle of the Mexican desert with a hack saw and a piece of chain link fence. The metal tube frame, not the links.
  22. Hey another noob!! Welcome to the site. Plz enjoy and ask as many question as you can think of.
  23. That's an Admin question. He can probably add something.
  24. Different people will tell you different things. They do have a class for the big bore 4x4 quads. Post a pic of what you got.
  25. That's exactly what I meant by grommet.
