thnx, we'll need it. My goal though is to beat BOT, as long as I do that, I'll be happy.
-
Bot's Registered, I'm registering this weekend, or whenever I can get some money....can't wait for my first race. see how my STOCK Can Am runs against the big boys. haha

Went to North Sand (Snow) Hills a couple weeks ago and had some fun in about 6" of the white stuff.

What is your FAV kind of riding to do?
joet82 replied to DrtyGrlKristin's topic in General ATV Discussion
trails/open riding areas over dunes since every time I've ridden dunes sand gets in my beads and I lose air in the tires. haha -
I just need to get a flag pole for my RV. haha IDK how we'll be flying it otherwise. and Adelanto isn't exactly on the Border, it's about 30 miles east of Palmdale, CA, and about 1.5 hours west of Laughlin, NV. A small town by Victorville, CA, which is on the 15.

So far, myself and Bot will be racing in the Harescramble race. Putting out an open invitation to all Quadcrazy members willing and able to come out, to do so and either join us in the race/races, or be there for support. The Grand Prix will be on the 20th and 21st of February, and so far, it seems like there's only one quad race, and the rest of the weekend is dirtbikes, but I have written to my contact in the group that's putting it on and waiting for a reply. Registration opens on December 1st, and will go till about February 1. Let us know if you can make it....it's in 4 months, so plenty of time to get things planned. right now, it's just a Dynamic Graphics party with me, Drtygrl, StoopidBot, and a couple of their friends riding. but it'd be great if we could raise a Quadcrazy banner above the RV as well....if we get enough riders out there.

At North Snow, oops I mean, North Sand Hills, CO, about 10am....Joe Vs. Mike (aka Stoopidbot)....in 6 inches of snow, BAD IDEA to get into 4th gear. haha only reason y I lost the race.

Banning riding on 9.4 million acres
joet82 replied to ATVsToday's topic in ATV Laws, Legal Issues, and Policing
I bet the politicians that are creating these laws to ban riding on public lands have NEVER been on a quad, dirt bike, or even a street bike. F'in BS! -
Hey, I passed the word MONTHS ago.....it's their fault for not planning their trips around ME. haha
-
All this talk about the 450's, and not even one iota about the Can Am's......WTF! haha I've had my 08 for just over a year, and except for an oil leak caused by a couple of rolls, and air leaks in the tired caused by lowering my air pressure too much at Pismo and getting sh** in the bead. other than that, no problems at all. and as of 09, they have 2 kinds of 450X's, one is XC and on is MX, main difference is the width of the stance.
-
btw, my roadtrip starts tomorrow. Let me know.
-
No replies except for Bot and Drtygrl at North Sand Hills, CO, on the weekend of the 10th of Oct. Does nobody ride anymore?
-
And here is my new home....and toys. Better pics to follow.
-
ya, found out today that some jackass, when he cut off the plug for the trailers power on my tow package, they clipped it off (yes cut it), ABOVE the coupler so that now, I not only have to buy a new 7 prong plug, but also a coupler and splice it back together....gladly I'm taking it in for 5th Wheel work tomorrow so I'm sure they will fix the situation.
-
it was easy....locked all the drivelines, hooked it up via chain to another MTVR, and slam it into reverse once they start pulling. haha
-
Well, thanks Mr Smarty Pants for playing the one-up game. haha
-
yup, I only looked at a toy hauler. and it had to have a seperate garage as well. 39 foot 5th wheel. plenty of room to live.
