Hello QC Peeps I haven't been around lately and just found this post. I have been working through this pandemic because I work for an essential manufacturing co. www.http://MackMolding.com We make lots of different medical products including components for processing pharmaceuticals, surgical devices, air purification/filtration systems turning moisture in the air into a gaseous form of Hydrogen Peroxide, blood filtration/purification systems and more. It's been stressful having to work, but I am working to play my part in the crazy times we're going through. I attached 2 photos from my facility.
Don't let this pandemic take away your rights as an American.

p.s. Those pics of NYC at heights give me the willies too

I have 6 surveillance cameras at home. Crazy world we're living in these days. I had a carburetor stolen out of a Honda ATC 350X many years ago right in my backyard. I hope it didn't work for the scummy thief.

Good post bump by Theo. It reminded me of an incident way back in approx. 1991. I was riding at dusk with two friends and one of them had a few beers in him. He was ahead of us & when we came around a bend he had been thrown over the bars at an off camber washout. There he was lying on his back unconscious. We took care of him without real problems but if he were sober he probably would have maneuvered that washout easily. Good reminder to stay sober driving ANY VEHICLE!

Have you checked that all four tires are the same size? It appears that the fronts look smaller then the rear bit it could be the pic. All 4x4's have to have the same size.
Just a shot in the dark but hey could be.I'm glad I caught this post. I didn't know 4X4s needed all four tires the same. I never owned a 4X4. Is that for all quads?

A clip from Diamonds Are Forever (1971) with James Bond riding a very early Honda Trike!
Three Honda ATCs come in at 1:54 with the one on th left pulling a sweet wheelie for 2 seconds!
Bond scenes are great!

I also came here back in 2015 looking for a manual. I was able to find one and forgot all about this place. I was researching another issue for a friend's quad and was re-introduced to this place by google.
I do have a few manuals I might be able to contribute, is there somewhere to upload them on here, or just respond to requests?
Check out the DLs Button on the top right of the page.
See if you have a manual that isn't listed there.
You can UL a file to the appropriate place there.

I too joined this forum looking for a manual. I joined to be a contributing member and not just "pad" my posting numbers to get a manual. I poked around & found I like it here. I made some posts and even started a club (Ride Red). I also contributed photos & a service manual. I am not here to be a lazy sponge. Some people just don't get it!

I would buy a new carburetor if I were you. Plug & play sounds good. I rebuilt my 85 Honda 250SX trike carb. a few years back with no problems. You could try to soak it like crazy to loosen things up. Keep us posted.

I didn't see this on QC and just found it elsewhere, virus free!

My Honda ATC 250SX has a dry weight of 357 Lbs.
Our Honda Recon ES has a dry weight of 414 Lbs.
I love light ATVs that you can toss if around easily if you feel like it 😎

I know the owners manual is not a service manual but it does have a lot of information. You can get the Owners Manual pdf directly from Yamaha here:

I have used a Garmin Etrex Legend in the past but th screen got screwed up without me abusing it other than some adverse weather conditions. Also, I forgot to remove the handlebar mount from the trike before I sold her years ago. I used it to record riding distance, speed, time etc... I have been thinking of getting a new GPS unit for future travels.
Here is a ten year old video of me riding with th Etrex Legend mounted on th bars of a 1985 Honda ATC 200X trike:

Here is a longer video of me, on th same trike, using the same GPS unit:

I spend time in Denbigh, Ontario, Canada. My last visit I brought my Honda trike and rode around, semi legally & had a ball. A RCMP Officer stated "what happens in Denbigh stays in Denbigh" 😎. I rode down to the beach at Lake Denbigh & people waved & such. I would love to find proper trails for me & my missus to ride there. Thanks for any input.

Easy lookup, area code 706 should be northern or central west Georgia. Year old listing though, it could be gone by now.

I bought a 2003 Recon recently & saw that there was dry rot on th front tires. After a couple of days research I decided on Kenda Bear Claws for the front. Chaparral had a fair price and I ordered 2, still to be delivered. Thank you UPS for dragging your feet😣. I prefer to stick with stock tire sizing and I'm having a difficult time finding rear tires to "match" the Bear Claws up front. I've looked at Kenda, Maxxis, ITP, Carlisle and others but no brand makes them sized to my liking without buying rims too. The Maxxis Sur Traks look good but they're an inch wider than stock & 2 plies for th price of a 6 ply. I want 4-6 ply tires. HELP me PLeaSE 🤕 my head hurts.
edit: the rears are 22 10 9

I started out on dirtbikes as a kid and had a blast on two wheels. Last year I had an high school automotive class I was teaching and keeping my eyes open for simple projects for my students. Found a honda rancher on Craigslist that had been rolled and appeared to be seized. $250 and I couldn't pass it up. Plastics were crap and handlebars bent, meter cracked but lights still worked. No battery just the pull start. Turned out the the piston wrist pin clip jammed under the wrist pin prevent it from being able to rock back and forth with the connecting rod movement. Drilled the piston off and hammered out the pin. $80 on a new piston and the thing fired up second pull! Eventually got different plastics and repaired a few other cosmetics bits and its been running great since (with a few aluminum piston bits inside lol). Same spark plug and head (just dingle balled it a bit).
I would love to see pics of that. Before, after or whatever.

I started this club for Honda Fans because they are my favourite manufacturer of off road machines. If you join please post an introduction into this topic. Your best pics of your Hondas added to the club's image gallery would be great. Also you should add yourself to the member map @ Quadcrazy.
Bye for now & Ride Red 😎

So maybe you won't find quads here, but you could easily find cheap accessories. Gloves, helmets, etc.
Shop Goodwill rocks. I feel like I've given up a big secret:
