  1. Thats all? Great write up look forward to the rest of the year

Sent from my SGH-T989 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2

Mario I forgot to post on your profile, and mabe I should anyways, but we are trying to get the QC crew together for a ride this fall. Once we see who is intrested we will pick a spot.

  2. you really do a lot of work to make sure people have places to ride.

I just want to make sure that when I have kids they can have some places to ride and explore like I did all my life. When I was young you could literally ride anywhere you wanted on a quad, there days it is easier to trailer.

  3. its has fresh fluid in it...i just finished replace both outter cvj's and had the half shafts out. the fluid that came out of the front diff was extremely clean...i was impressed and relieved when i saw it. the rear axle is solid. i did not check tire sizes last night when i got home. ill check tonite though. what kind of slime do yall recommend filling the tires with

It should be normal for a little drag then. Heck my 2012 can am has a clunk in the clutch and so do all the other models, I guess they are just normal operating quarks.

  4. I am throwing this out there to see if anyone is intrested in trying to get together for a ride this fall in either PA or NY. I say we start throwing some dates around and see who can attend. Once we find the date the we can pick a centeralized place based on who is going.

So who things they can make it sometime in September or October. And where do you want to ride?:cheers2c:

  5. With me being in and out of the forums so much I just wanted to start a post and let you know what I was up to when I wasn't here being a mod.

Over the winter months I pretty much hung out in the shop and online. Not riding much. I did get to meet up with the coal country riders at Motorama.

I took some time in the winter to clean up the quads and fix anything needed for the upcoming riding season.

Like cleaning the clutch and fixing a warn coolant hose on the AC H1.

I also added ammo boxes for storage not knowing they will save my butt in another month or so.

I changed the brakes and fluids on the AC 500.

The first event was Trail Jam at the Lost trails where we met a few friends from ATV Illustriated, Power Sports Marketing, and On the Trail TV. We also helped with the poker run.

Right about now the weather was perfect for riding and I wanted to ride like every weekend. Besides the rides I spent some time learning about trail maintenance and economic impacts of trail systems by visiting the AOAA and the Bald Eagle State Forest. I was able to meet those who are working on the AOAA, Lance who wrote for quad mag and alot of DCNR people in charge of maintaining and managing the forests.

Then we attended the Renovo Cruise for a Cure organized by Centeral Mountian ATV along with Bucktail medical center relay for life. It was about a 50 mile ride connecting Renovo to the Bloody Skillet. We camped at Whiskey Springs and ended up riding there, Bloody Skillet, and the connector trail to SSRT.

  6. With full time 4WD it is similar to the back two tires being interconnected all of the time. When you turn the one wheel spins faster than the other so one tire has to spin on the pavement while the other one travels slower. You just have to be careful not to stress out the drive train with all time 4WD. The other tires spining faster will increase tire wear and be harder on the drive train but should not break anything. I plow in 4X4 on pavement all of the time.
