  1. Infamous iPhone....that's just the best damn cell phone on the market...too bad it's only AT&T.

Agreed, I had the iPhone for 8 months. The phone is great, AT&T's service sucks. Dropped calls, failed calls, and dropped voicemails. Called them for over a month to try to resolve with no avail. Apple even went as far as replacing the phone. AT&T finally admitted they just don't have the capacity on the towers. Since i use my phone for both home and work, I was forced to break the contract and go back to Verizon. I now have the Droid Eris.

AT&T would not budge on allowing me out of the contract, they don't guarantee service!

  2. I carry a well used kodak camera that is honestly beat up. Still works good and I am amazed the dust and dirt didn't do it in yet.

I had a newer Kodak camera that I brought to a ride at SSRT and the dust killed it in one ride. Dust got in the zoom mechanism and now its unusable. My suggestion is use one that you don't mind losing or use a camera that has no optical zoom.

If you don't mind spending the money, Olympus makes cameras that are sealed from dust and wetness. They are like $300 though.

  3. Mine's pretty stock except the bumpers, winch, hand guards, etc. The one thing that made a difference was the 26" Bighorns on ITP's. They made it a lot easier to manage. So far the only thing that should get some attention is the spike load dampener. It's not slipping bad, but I should get it replaced while I still have warranty. I've only got around 600 miles on it so far, so there's plenty of time for something to go on it.

Mike, I love that pic of you crawling out of the mud pit

I've got a few pics, but having some trouble. It says they're not a valid image.

I didn't make it out of the pit because my tires were worn out. I plan to put the bighorns on my LE rims when I get a few $$ together. For now I am using the ex-swampcat tires :coolgleamAc:

  5. I rarely get photographed as I am usually the one with the camera. I passed 2,500 miles last week and my machine is still stock. Only replacement parts aside from the usual oil and diff changes has been the brakes and recently tires.

Still cannot post attachments, even tried converting them to GIF's first :aargh:

  6. Thanks for adding that. I created a new thread with your wiring diagran and sticky'd it, to help others who may be searching for it.

That isn't the complete document, only the one page of it that refers to the model he had a question about. The document I have covers all 'Cats from that year. The original document is a bit over 4 megs. Attached is the index page.

    (Weird, I can attach PDF's but not JPG's )

  7. I have an original 1942 lionell set sitting in my garage, so many locomotives and enough track to fill a basement, houses and stuff, but it off me :D lol

I did a around the wall layout with my Lionel Train set. I mounted it 12 inches below the ceiling in my living room. One side as a passing siding, the opposing side has a spur track to switch equipment. Eventually I plan to have it exit the living room and run through the kitchen area.

  8. Welcome to QUADCRAZY!

Are you trying to attach the images? Did it not work? You can also try using a free service like photobucket and just paste the url here.

I tried attachments, but after uploading it said they were not valid images

    They are JPG images.

  9. Hey Mike glad to see you here. Just found out that I can't ride this weekend. A client wants to meet me at 10 so the trip to SSRT is out.

That sucks, Michelle is going with me so the pace will be slower anyway.
