1987 Suzuki Quadrunner no factory suspension
Tundra550 replied to 4wheeler333's topic in Suzuki ATV Forum
Also have a look at the front, there is suspension you can clearly see it in the picture -
Look up on YouTube fixing atv plastics with hose clamps. You cut pieces then heat them up then press them into the back side. They work awesome. Very strong too.

Are the original fenders not salvageable? That's the way to go if they are.

Just picked this bike up for my 9 year old son. Wasn't run for 10 plus years. Not a crack in the plastics. Paid 1200 Canadian for it. Needed rear bearings and seals and a drive shaft boot. I also put new tires on the back. Where these good bikes? Thanks

Also I think for his safety on a quad he needs to know and understand the potential consequences of riding a too big for him bike at the rev limiter and what could happen if those tires grabbed and flipped the bike on top of himself. I just don't want to hear of something bad happening.

I picked up my 9 year old son a 250 timberwolf. I think it's best that kids learn how to listen to a motor and shift gears. He started on a DS90 than moved on to this. Also that bike looks too big for him as he can barely touch the foot pegs.

Only thing with running on reserve is when you are out of gas that's it none left

Yamaha 2005 Kodiak 400 Starting Issues
Tundra550 replied to Bobby_Rickard's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
Why wouldn't he use dielectric grease on the connections? This is the first I have heard of this. How would you clean up a connection that is surrounded in a plastic housing? -

1993 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 2x4 Rear Differential Help
Tundra550 replied to emoyer105's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
I got a allballs kit for the rear axle and it had three seals in the kit and two bearings. There was only 2 used when I took it apart and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out where the third seal would go. Anyone else come across town his with the allballs kits. Thanks This was for a 1994 Yamaha Timberwolf -
ATV storage hack - cheap box idea
Tundra550 replied to Machias_Mike's topic in General ATV Discussion
great idea. -
Do you still have the OEM carb? The Chinese ones are usually junk in my opinion. That's probably your problem right there. Get a carb kit for the original and you will be way better off.
