A dealer would be one place, but that could be expensive. I've used Partszilla to find the manufacture part number by looking at their exploded parts diagrams, you'll just have to start picking componets to see if any show the detail your looking for. We needed something get around our property on and we were looking for more of a utility type than sport so we settled on a Yamaha Grizzly 700. I've used it to haul my chainsaws/oil/gas, plow the driveway, skid logs, search for neighbors lost dogs, get the mail as our mailbox is about 1 mile from our house, rescue the riding mower from being stuck in a ditch,...and the list goes on.

That trailer/tent is pretty neat! I have never seen that type of setup, but like you have mentioned they are not very popular on the east coast. Glad to hear you are still enjoying yours after 6 years

Thanks for the reply. That does seem a little risky especially when the mode switch is only $19, wise decision.

In New York state its a BIG no no to ride on/cross any public road, paved or dirt. The part that is even a little more infuriating is that even through can't ride on the roads you still have to register your ATV and get a license plate! As I understand many choose not to get it registered, but if it ever gets stolen and you call the police the first question from them is going to be what's the registration/plate number? Oooops if you don't have that info!

How does the "paperclip trick" work, can you provide the details?

I use our 700 Grizzly to carry my chainsaws, oil and gas for cutting firewood on our property. I'd also like to pull a trailer with it to help collect the firewood. Because we have lots of rocks on our property the trails are very uneven. I have heard of a walking beam suspension that helps to minimize a bouncy ride. Does anyone have any experience with the walking beam suspension verses a traditional axle and any trailer recommendations or even a style or type not to get to haul firewood with? Thanks in advance.

I have to give a nod to the NOCO brand as I have a Genius 10. It seems as battery technology has increased so has the need to own a "Smart Charger" with all the different battery types in use. I like that the Genius 10 has the ability to disulfate a battery and it also has temperature compensation and its reasonably priced at around $100 for all its capabilities.
