Search and rescue,,,155.160MHz. That being said my friend got a HAM license and that was cheaper and reliable in wilderness especially since he could talk and not declare an emergency. Moreover, ham radio's can operate Simplex...direct transmission without need of infrastructure support. It’s important to note that emergency frequencies (there is a list of them) aren’t just for professional rescuers and emergency workers; they can also be used by ordinary citizens who are equipped with the appropriate radio equipment. Follow proper guidelines and protocols when using these frequencies to ensure that communication lines remain clear and efficient for all parties involved. Also in an emergency remember the rule of three....three fires, three flashes, three shots. And of course " dot-dot -dot dash -dash- dash dot -dot dot " (SOS signal) in the snow or on the ground visible from above.

No the info is automatically texted to friends..I don't have cell service where i go usually. ..even when you MISS a check point or if you do not finish...It works to notify people I have listed to be tracking me. !!! You have a different better system which is good but All Trails works...

I have "All Trails' It tracks me and shows trails even in mountains of Nevada when on foot. Plus it has an emergency communication$ feature that works from any remote area. I have seen it work with others. Damn Helicopter extractions are expensive! I think it would even work in my Hotel room..Never tried it.... LOL.

Sooooo....I am looking at a 6.5 Ft X 12 aluminum trailer with Torsion bar axle. My Yamaha 700 SXS is 10 Ft over all. Foreman, Honda, is 48 inches wide and 83 inches long. the trailer is flat with 6 inch anguler side rails. Can i fit both machines on that tailer????

Ooops...PIC Final finished....I feathered in the area where the fiberglass reinforcing cloth was with filler that is available. It sands easy for a smooth finish.

I repaired my cousin's paddle board a year or so ago. The entire nose broke off. Here you can see I reattached with two layers of fiberglass cloth . I use West Marine Epoxy because it works and It's dummy proof for people like me. Also they help me with questions and suggestions.
