since it is epoxy one could use fiber glass resin with filler (sold at West Marine) to feather in the edges if needed. BTW I have an epoxy Paddle Board that is slick and faster than my other non epoxy (glass) boards. BUT i keep the glass board covered in a sleeve when up on the shore or transporting as the sunlight degrades it.

More is sometimes not good I guess....is there an adapter to convert my solar charger o "maintenance " so I don't over charge?

Very good explanation ...that made sense even to my little mind... so OK when I charge my batteries...i.e., lead acid bat... with my trickle chargers I remove the vehicle negative lead from the bat. Its a pain but someone said I should.....

Ha Ha...OMG that would tighten you up! Maybe just wash my feet..LOL I wonder how deep? The Finger lakes in upstate new york are deep the Senaca Lake is over 900 feet deep!

The one picture of a red ATV in the sand shows something lie a belt around the tires? is that correct? My rail has smooth tires for here in Florida.

I have had that kit in my 'Stash' for a year or so. Just keep it out of sunlight. each patch is maybe an 1/8 in + thick. I sanded area until it was bare.

My sand rail VW motor air housing had some metal fatigue and multiple holes where the Ignition coil was mounted . Others had remounted creating several holes/ I recently installed an Alternator and removed air housing. I used an epoxy patch kit to cover and reinforce the area where coil was mounted. THe kit worked great. Just exposed the fabric patch to sunlight to cause curing. After 24 hours I was able to trim /sand and paint. You can see the fiber glass patch cloth in picture before I painted. It was very ridged when i pushed on it and did not flex.

Is that a wet clutch...probably takes special oil? Tractor clutches were dry clutches and notorious for sticking when left set too long.

My equipment is at my cottage that I am at when possible. So I don't like 120 vac trickle chargers due to potential fire hazard. Mike explorer suggested this solar charger as an Option. I like it.

I like Amazon and Ebay. However, when I buy parts I look up the OEM part number on Honda or Yamaha website. Then i make sure the part fits and is OEM part most of the time. Rock Auto...they are great....Just ordered rear wheel hubs and ABS sensors for my Jeep. They are reliable...

when he changes oil what color is it? Does it have water in it...milky brown color...The wateer will be at the bottom as he drains it.

I was considering a wheel clamp lock as being easy to install when temporily stopping to eat or rest/swim. I have cable lock but it is harder to install.

Upstate New York is so beautiful. Never rode there...but spent some time around Massena, NY area .....Shame the St. L Seaway locks were restricted to 78 feet wide so ocean vessels could not utilize them...politics!

I don't go for the cheapest. I just got Geico on my two off roads and have off/on road on my Sandrail. Geico is 'Stand your Ground ' when people try to sue over BS. " Been there done that." But I am sure other good companies do the same and back their insured. BTW Insurance companies know more about you than the CIA. LOL
