2006 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4 quiet muffler

Im looking to replace my muffler on an Eiger 4x4.

I do beleave that loud pipes save lives on the street but not in the woods they lose trails.

so with that said im looking for a deep tone but not to loud, I dont want to repack all the time.

all my search every one talks about loud pipes or pipes that they dont make for an Eiger.

anyone have any ideas

there is an add-on muffler for hunting I've seen on TV. makes em super quiet. Hit the big places like rocky mountain atv they'll have it.

Keep an eye on sound levels- the EPA is gonna be bringing them down on us!

Right now Oregon is 99 everywhere except the beach, which is 93. Before long it will be 93 db statewide!

Then my FMF will have to come off...

I was thinking of an add-on to the stocker- it fits across the back- I don't rem the name of it.

You could always just throw an exhaust silencer on your existing muffler: ATV Exhaust - Reduces Noise 60 to 80 percent - Watch Video They make an adapter for the Eiger.

my stock muffler is junk has been welded on and all bent up.

Im looking to replace it, I just dont want some thing as loud as my full Sparks sys. or my HMF with no packing

Aftermarket pipes for your eiger are limited in choice ! Have you Googled your quad and see what comes up ?

I don't know of anyone who is making aftermarket pipes in the 93-95 range.... I have a stock system for the yammer to get it under 96...

Maybe your best bet would be to search ebay for a used stock exhuast in good condition.

Im thinking about a HMF Eco-Sys QS1 they say 96db or keep looking for a stock one.

Anyone running the HMF QS1???

Not I, but HMF makes good stuff IMO, they are usually on the loud side, but it sounds like that one is made to be a bit more quiet. I don't know anyone who has run an HMF and not liked it.

I have not heard about this new one, that's good news! as long as it is better than the stocker- it robs so much power... I'll be checking in to that

IMO you loose power when they close up the exhaust to make it 93 to 95dbls I`ve never understood why they are concerned about dbls levels:confused: Must be the greenies at work

all my readings so far say it's about 95-96db and it helps bottom end and mid range response.

I did a search on gooles and not many choices for the mighty eiger !!!! Do you have any pics of that muffler ??

That does suck. I think it's going to be tough to find something for the Eiger. Have you tried maybe a newer lookup for a King Quad 400 which replaced that? Maybe that will fit if there even is anything available.
