THE SAMANTHA BOWES FAMILY FUND

Hey all....fellow ATV'er needs some help while caring for his daughter who was just diagnosed with leukemia this past April.

I'm not the main coordinator, but I will pass details along as they come....

Thanks!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

We will be holding a fund rasiser ride for Samantha on Sunday, Sept. 28th, 2008 At Lost Trails ATV Park

in the Poconos in Monroe Cty. Pa.

Samantha is the daughter of a fellow ATV'er who has been stricken with cancer. Her parents have 7 children

and they are falling behind in thier house hold bills and are now in fear of losing their home.

To make matters worse Sam's Dad just got his hours cut at work from 55 hours a week down to 40. He needs our help.

The ride will take place rain or shine. The park opens at 9:00 but you can arrive early and unload. Once yo unload

you can make your way down to the office to register.

There will be a tent outside of the office selling raffle tickets for ATV related items and also 50/50's.

This is a group effort involving several ATV Clubs and ATV web sites. The donation for the ride is: $ 35.00 pr rider.

$15.00 of that has to go to cover insurance costs. The rest goes right to little Samantha.

I except to have some dealers maybe even TV coverage from a local TV station. I also contacted Fishers ATV world to

see if they would come on board. If you would like more info.and directions to Lost Trails ATV Park go to:

Lost Trails ATV Park

The owner of Lost Trails Tony Novak was gracious enough to allow us to hold this event at his park. If you need more

info. please contact me at :

[email protected]

Thanks in advance for your help and support.

It is times like this that we need to pull together for our fellow riders. TX is going to get some Fund Raising Account info for us. I know it is easier to look the other way. Someday you may need a hand from someone else, help comes from the place you would least expect it. Everyone reach into pockets and help out. 5 bucks is more than you would know for a family in need.

TX, as soon as I get back to Denver there is a check in the mail. I want this to be completely anonymous. I just wanna know how she does.(progress reports)

However you want to do it 'bot....

She started her next round of chemo this week; first 2 days

were good.....but the family is expecting her to react soon.

And, my bad...she's not 11...she's 3....he has 7 children and I got it mixed up....

      Hi everyone.
Let me explain the thread title.
My husband and I are very active in the nudist community, and we have stayed at many and most of the mainstream nudist and clothing optional campgrounds in the USA. We are now approaching our retirement and would like to start a podcast to share those off the road / backwoods / little known camping areas where nudity is allowed. We have purchased a 5th wheel camping trailer with a rear garage for the ATV and now need some good reports on the one to buy.
We are most interested in a side by side unit but would love to get your thoughts.
Feel free to stop by and say Hi and ask anything you would like to better understand what we are looking for in an offroad unit.
Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you.

      Hi Guys!

New member and could really use your advice. I would have to believe this has been an issue for others but a search here came up with nothing......? (Probably me not doing search correctly)

      I have an 87 Big Bear 350 YFM350FWT
The OEM Mikuni BTM carb is shot and would rather replace than rebuild.
It is no longer made and I have had good luck with NICHE carbs so I ordered a #K-CRB-0006 This was what they said was replacement when ordered. This Carb only uses 1 Throttle cable. The Slide is linked so it uses one. (OEM had 2nd cable coming through top to move slide)

Problem is when I ordered a replacement Cable from NICHE (#C-CBL-0061) the Cable wire is a little short, not allowing Throttle to return all the way down to Idle position. I called NICHE and they are at a loss. Haven't gotten back to me after 2+ weeks.

What would you recommend other than a carb rebuild?
Can I just use 1 of the OEM cables (It is the right length) and snip/disconnect the other that went to top of Carb for Slide?
      Or ??

Thanks in advance for any advice you have!!

Hello guys, I hope I am not invading your space, but as you can see the current state of my project here it's not but about 50% ATV. I am hoping that some one here can point me to a wiring schematic that I can reference since the "Complete wiring harness" i purchased from Amazon did not include a diagram of any kind.

The ones that I am finding on line vary greatly but none show the connections for the separate 5 wire connector coming from the motor.

Can someone tell me where these wires go?

Thanks in advance for all help!
