Custom by Campbell, outstanding roadside chili and when you're done you can use the can LOL. Seriously though I'm looking for a muffler as well so I'm interested in following this post closely

That is exactly what I'm going to do to my muffler. Will look good flat black. Good idea.

it's quite snug on there but going to tack it with the mig. Drilled some concentric holes and it sounds nice

well here it is. I tacked it in 4 places and a quick paint job. Sounds great :)

I bought the Kimpex exhaust for mine. Found it on ebay for $180 brand new. Don't know if they still make them. I had a soup can on mine for a LONG time. haha, finally cut the spark arrestor off but it was too loud. Ended up using it on my Quadrunner 250 with a plate welded over the hole and a piece of 1" pipe welded to the center. Works well!

Hi I was riding my Honda the other day and I gave it gas for about a quarter-mile just flooring it and then it started to lose power. I pushed it about a mile home which was a pain in the butt but when I got home It still had gas, compression and spark. Do you think the timing jumped possibly?

I have had a 2002 Suzuki King Quad 500 for almost a year. This is a question I’ve posted before, but likely missed the answer due to being new to the site. Here’s the issue. When in 4 wheel drive, especially in low range, especially when pulling a load downhill, I hear a lot of clanking in the front end. As if the front drive shaft was binding then unbinding. A friend who had a 1987 Dodge 4x4, told me all the noise his front end made when in 4 wheel drive was entirely normal. So, is this something I should worry about? I have all the bodywork and tank off right now doing a valve adjustment and carb rebuild. If I gotta do something, I’d like to do it now. Lastly, I’d love to find a carb tuning guide for this era of Mikuni. Haven’t tracked one down yet. Any thoughts of where to find one? Great forum. Have really enjoyed it so far.
