2016 Yamaha Grizzly 700 Blown Up Transmission

Your best bet would be to look up the parts and compare the part number on any of the parts web sites. Best bet. @Ajmboy knows some of the parts places that list the parts by numbers   Maybe he can chime in and point you in the right direction.

Also take a look (long shot) but look on eBay for that parts for both years and screen shot the patsy and compare  or down load the manuals here and compare parts  from the manual. It may take time but worth it.

Lastly I would call a Yamaha dealer ask for the parts dept and ask them to run the part numbers for both years. I’m sure they would tell you

Definitely cross reference all your needed parts on partzilla or rockymountainatv.  Both are great places to check part numbers.  eBay is a great place to get used parts.

Thanks, ended up getting a kodiak 700 parts motor for a stupid price!

They are interchangeable Yamaha uses same parts (although different p/n) for their 660 and 700 series one piston engines Glad to hear you've got them for a good price .That's a nice buy cause they're expensive, those are special heat treated steel parts .Congrats.

So I have an 89 Yamaha moto 4 250cc and when I ride it, itll get hot after like 10-15 mins and then will just die and turn off.
It's has new carb rebuild, new air filter, new battery, new spark plug so I don't think it's a crack in the spark plug
      Can anyone help me?

      Hey I have a 1997 big bear 350 4x4
I replaced the shifter shaft and the shift arm linkage and the rod when I installed them all I was unaware that you had to line the dot on the shifter shaft with the gap on the linkage arm gap put it all back  together and rode it I can't get it to shift in the right gears  I can move the shift cam by hand and goes in different gears but with the shifter shaft in it riding I can't put it in R or N
Anyone know how to line up the shifter shaft and the shift cam s

      Hi guys
My 87 Bear 350 won't start and could use a hand.
Turn key on and Oil light turns on and then slowly fades out. (I think this is key to this) No start, not even a tick.
      battery and connections good
A Solenoid post jump turns it over
Neutral Safety Switch wire attached and seems good
It has not had a wire/switch on Rear Brake Pedal ever since I had it.
Any thoughts on some other things to troubleshoot this??

My king quad 700 runs rough when cold then won't start some times but not often when it's hot. And occasionally smoke's a lot when it's cold I'm guessing that's rings but I'm worried unless it's causing the other problems

      All help is appreciated thanks

      Hi all,
Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.
