Coil spring spacer for lift?

Recommended Posts

Have any of you fine folks used coil spring spacers to lift an ATV? Ole 93 Kodiak could use a smidge more lift and they are cheap enough. Might ride rough but that's ok cuz the shocks are toast anyway.

Thoughts?

They look safer than a bracket lift. Those just look hokey to me.

A block of wood. Cheap enough. Lol.

On the other hand. It could work.

They do. I have two kits for my Hondas and they look so so.  Im waiting on tires and rims for them and plan on putting them in. If the plates give me any shit I'm fabricating new ones at work.

Which ones you looking at for the springs, twist in or the expansion type?

Man, you're braver than me if you use those adjustable spacers like that.  I've seen those pop out on a car.  I was looking at a milled aluminum spacer like you use on a late model Chevy truck.  There are several companies that make them and they're pretty cheap. Just compress the spring, pop the top off the shock, insert spacer.

      Hello,
Does anyone have any experience with Bronco or Race Driven shocks? I have a 1987 Big Bear 350 and looking for a rear replacement shock and those seem to be the only 2 brands available anymore.

I have a 2005 Yamaha Kodiak 400 Automatic. It has an oil leak inside clutch cover. The middle gear has two oil seals, the front seal is leaking engine oil into clutch area. How do you change the leaking seal?

Got my Yamaha Grizzly buttoned up finally and went for a quick 2 hour ride in the power lines with my neighbor, who has a Yamaha Kodiak. We have access from his yard, which is nice. Was a beautiful day today to get out and will try to go more often. Ran into two other quad riders with a sportsman and I think grizzly. Also ran into a dirt bike rider. 😎
