It would be stable enough but  single wheel drive wouldn't have the traction to  push the machine in slippery conditions of mud and snow. It might work if the  front/ steering wheels were driven rather than the single rear wheel,  but I can't see any advantage over a 4 wheeler and can  envision a few disadvantages in less than  ideal conditions .

I just saw a video on TikTok where some guy took the rear end off an ATV and bolted on a roto tiller in place of rear wheels. I wish i saved that video to post here....good thing it was 4 wheel drive...lol but, it seemed to work.
I'm not sure how he made it bolt on to the drive....

Just thought I'd throw this out there.  Been wanting a water resistant box for my machine but googling it came up with a ton of really expensive things.  Not sure why I never thought of this before.  Bought a craftsman toolbox from lowes for $10.  drilled a couple holes in it and ziptied it to existing rack.  Super solid and works like a champ!!  The other mesh basket was something i bought on amazon for a bicycle, lol.

I have enough money to buy a good used ATV outright but I don't want to purchase just a used one.  I would like to spend $8K to $10K to get a nice new ATV/Quad to go riding in the mountains with on getaways but to ride around the country when I'm at home.
I have about $2K saved up but like I said, I can't afford the ATV I want with that.  Would that be enough money for a down payment?
I can afford to pay about $200/mo on ATV loan payments if necessary.
Are there other places to get financing than through a bank?  Do ATV providers like Polaris offer loans?
I'm very inexperienced at buying an ATV so thanks for any help!

I just have no idea where to start.
My main goal for an atv is for plowing AND yard/garden work. I dont need the most powerful atv on the planet, just something that can haul my big 220lb around and push plenty of snow.
My main problem is I dont even know where to start looking. I dont know whats good, whats to stay away from, just like every product on the planet. Theres good and bad in each hobby.
So hopefully by now you have a jist or an idea of what Im talking about. Other than spending hours reading about each atv (time I dont have), I'm hoping someone can give me a quick lesson or show me a place where you can easily compare (side by side) different companies and sizes.
      Thanks for any help.
