I am looking for help on how to distribute and organize a service manual collection. I would like to use a file sharing website or something similar. I have tons of service manuals and would like to find a better way to add and share these manuals, something that was organized and easy to use. Any ideas would be welcomed.

A free alternative is to store it all on Google Drive and organize it by folder. Google drive gives up to 15 GB of storage for free.

You can just create another Google account to have more storage for free.

You can also upgrade to Google Workspace Business Standard account to get 2 TB of storage that costs $10.80 USD.

I also think it's the easiest way you can organize and distribute your service manual collection.

You can also message me if you need some help.

You can also add to our library here under downloads: https://www.quadcrazy.com/files/

Thanks for everyone's input. I am trying to figure out a way to keep it organized and easy to find the right manual

Quadcrazy has manuals listed by make only. Subfolders should have model year or engine size at a minimum

Looks like Quadcrazy should be the first choice for service manual respository, making the 10 post minimum and joining a new community seems like a fair trade for access to those files.  Those websites charging $25+ for a single manual seems pretty outrageous, and if you do spend money supporting websites like this seems the best idea in my opinion.

That's what search is for and why we try to ensure titles are robust to include YMM. If you search, you'll find if its available. 😁

CJ..  have a look at the manuals, they come in a lot of different versions, some do only one year, some do many, some of the manuals here are correct for the american market, but not right for other market's years.

Trying to classify them all without doubling them up in a lot of folders would be impossible..

Probably,be a little work, classify them by make only, then separate into year category models would fall into years. And people needing them would know there make and year. Hope that helps, and at quad crazy I would do this .

If some crazy person wants access to all my files let me know how I can share them, I have about 45GB (size) or 93GB (size on file) of info. Looking for someone to organize them and add to them anyway they know how.

scribd is a good place to download and post service manuals if you just want to get them out there.. making a wordpress site now days is really not that difficult either, you can sell them on etsy as downloads for a few dollars if you want to earn a little money, that is what i would do to be honest... you can also just put everything on a cloud drive and post a list of all the service manuals you have and send them out via request.

CJ

what is the status of your project? I’m in Nashville and would be glad to help if you are anywhere close. I was able to scan 35 years of my high school’s yearbooks to post online for the archives and for posting on the high school’s web page. I also scanned 5 boxes of other publications and documents from those years that were stored in boxes. I scanned as jpg pictures and then converted them to pdf documents, then combined the pdf pages into books. Be glad to help.

CJ.  I missed part of your previous message about you already having them in a digital format. If you haven’t already found a way to classify them and download them to the Quadcrazy website, then I will give you access to my cloud storage and instructions on how to place each file in the cloud. I will then review each file and convert as necessary and classify each file by mfg, model, and yr(s) then download to Quadcrazy. I will give full recognition to you. I have time since I had a foot operation and cannot walk for at least two months. Let me know if I can help.

O3 sat a while. Engine is running fine. I got it into neutral, did some general tune-up and cleaning then pulled the shifter pedal up and it locked up and will not release into neutral again.  Does anyone have experience with this problem?  Thanks for looking and any help.

Hi everyone and thanks for reading.
My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on.
We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best.
Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.
Thanks for your help and ride safe.
BTW, let us know what "anything goes" means for this thread section.

      Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!
